Image comics has been taking the comic industry by storm in the recent years. It secured a place in the market during the 90s with title such as Spawn and has had sudden raise in popularity 2010's, with the success of innovative series such as the Walking Dead and Saga.
Image Comics are peculiar in the sense, that it is rather a distributor and a publisher and the creators themselves own their own comic series and characters. The creators get the big profits and get to sell the rights for merchandise and films and such on their own terms, rather than the corporation owning the property (like Marvel and DC).
What do you think of Image comics? How would you compare them in terms of series quality to superhero giants DC and Marvel? What are you favorite titles? What kind of series you want to see from Image Comics in the future?
