The summary is down after the match record. I'm just posting the match record for the completeness. I also post wrongly in the U-17 forum. If anyone can delete that that'll great.

16. Renji Yanagi (1 W: 0 L)
W: France 5-7, 7-5 7-5

17. Yūshi Oshitari

In summary

The I am a great asset Squad (Only win, no lose)

1. Keigo Atobe (2 W: 0 L not counting exhibition match)
4. Genichirō Sanada (2 W: 0 L)
6. Kintarō Tōyama (1 W: 0 L) *Most likely going down a squad after this match*
9. Shūsuke Fuji (2 W: 0 L)
10. Masaharu Niōu (1 W: 0 L)
11. Shūichirō Ōishi (1 W: 0 L)
13. Akaya Kirihara (2 W: 0 L)
14. Ryoma Echizen (1 W: 0 L)
16. Renji Yanagi (1 W: 0 L)

Sometimes I'm worth it squad (Some win, some lose)
1. Keigo Atobe (2 W: 1 L counting exhibition match)
2. Seiichi Yukimura (1 W: 1 L not counting exhibition match and 2L if you count it)

I'm here for next year squad (Got upgrade in the actual tournament match and lose)
3. Kuranosuke Shiraishi (0 W: 1 L)
5. Jin Akutsu (0 W: 1 L)

You can replace me with Horio squad (Only lose, no win)
8. Gin Ishida (0 W: 1 L)
12. Eishirō Kite (0 W: 1 L)

Why am I even here squad (No real match in the tournament)
7. Bunta Marui
15. Kiyosumi Sengoku
17. Yūshi Oshitari

Fun Fact:
-Sanada, Renji, and Kirihara actually rank higher in win percentage than Yukimura for the actual tournament itself.
-Renji is the ONLY replacement that actually get to play in the actual tournament, and do better than many people that was actually 1st pick for the team (Namely Akutsu, Shiraishi, Kite, Gin, and Marui)
-Marui is also the ONLY original member not to play in the actual tournament at all. F.

Do you think there's a replacement that could have won the match Japan lost?

Didnt Fuji and Atobe won against Austrailia? Are you counting doubles?

Fuji count is there. I forgot to add Atobe though. The summary at the end is the same.

What makes the "Why am I even here squad" even funnier is that Sengoku and Yuushi are seen in the next WC... but not Marui, lol. Konomi went back and forth with his ideas way too much in NPoT.

We can all agree that the Aramenoma match up shouldn't had been skipped, right?

I feel like match against Aramenoma could have add a much needed attentions to characters that never actually play so far. Maybe we can even see Fuji in Singles. I wonder what the HS version of this might look like.
