It's Tobey here, the administrator of Demonic Scans!
Demonic Scans is a manga/manhwa/manhua Edited Manga group. We welcome anyone who is interested in Editing business! We mainly scanlate shounen but if there's a big demand for any series, we will scanlate whatever manga/manhwa/manhua our members like and/or whatever people request!
Now to introduce the positions!
Scanners DEMAND: MEDIUM
Japanese (Mainly)
-Orders the books and scans them so that our staff can work on the scans!
Translators DEMAND: HIGH
Chinese (Traditional/Simplified) - English
Japanese - English
Korean - English
-All translators MUST have a good grasp of both their translating language and English.
-Must be able to open .doc files and have Microsoft Word.
Editors DEMAND: HIGH
Cleaner
-The cleaner takes the page and fixes it. Cropping, resizing, fixing the colors are all the cleaner's job.
Redrawer
-The redrawer takes the cleaned page and removes any SFX or text that live on the artwork. They redraw the artwork back on.
Typesetter
-Takes the page and puts the text on it!
-Must be able to open .doc files and have Microsoft Word.
-All editors MUST have photoshop. Any version is fine as long as it is able to read PSD files.
-Must have had previous experience.
Proofreaders DEMAND: MEDIUM
Chinese (Traditional/Simplified) - English
Japanese - English
Korean - English
-The first proofer should have a good level of knowledge in both their proofing language and English.
English - English
-The second proofer should have a very high level of the English language. (It is better to have a little knowledge of the other language in this case, but not necessary)
-Must be able to open .doc files and have Microsoft Word.
Quality Checker DEMAND: MEDIUM
-Must have good experience in Editing manga to be able to check the quality of the scans.
Graphic Designer DEMAND: MEDIUM
-Draw fanart for staff birthdays or banners.
