Match Jujiro Oni VS Duke Watanabe (Pre World Cup Finals)

This will be a fun match and discussion.

But in a 3 set match. Who do you think will win? (Assuming both are fully healthy).

Oni and Duke are both Strong Power Players of Genius 5. But who do you think will win head on? What about who is better against the field?

To Review their skills, hype, and feats:

ONI

- have Demon Kishin
- Have POP
- Can Use Black/Golden Jack Knife
- Can use Black Tomahawk
- Can use 10 Ball Strike

- He was able to beat Byodoin 2 years ago. (That Byodoin was already a rival of players like Amadeus)

- He was able to win a set against QP (Though he lost the match)


DUKE

- Have Buddha Kishin
- Duke Homerun
- Duke Bunt
- Duke Rocket(?) (I forgot the name)
- Can achieve howling with Camus (irrelevant in this match though)

- It is mentioned that he has a chance against Camus

- Able to make his match against Tokugawa very close to the end.

I think it's Oni... maybe?
Byoudin declares Oni they're strongest guy when sending him out to face QP. Implying Byoudin thinks Oni is stronger. The maybe comes from the lack of knowledge of Duke Kishin. If he already had it then Oni is likely stronger. If he unlocked it during the Tokugawa match then he is likely stronger as his Kishin can destroy someone else's. But then the question becomes, is TnK stronger than Kishin. Unfortunately, we have 0 answer to that.

Duke would likely have been able to beat QP because he doesn't use TnK thus QP couldn't obtain Ultimate Quality.

Duke's Mishin can break Kishin so his is stronger.

I thought Oni's stats were all "?" Or did a fanbook update them?

There was a panel that showed stats for Byo and Oni. The only ones that were clearly readable were 10 Power for Oni and 10 Mental for Byo.

Yes. I also think Duke is stronger without PoP though. After all, he's in #3 position and Oni was #5.

I remember Qp hurt Oni's hand and body so much, he almost cannot play. Oni can't even lift his hands most of the 3rd set.

Oni with his combined TnK+Kijin was able to almost score on QP and "turn the tides of the game"... While injured.

If healthy, I think he's a tiny bit under Byoudouin in tiers, he should be able to beat Duke.

I think the 10 is through Kijin.

FTR, we can see most of Byoudouin's, it's something like this:
