Interesting chapter, as much as the last one with all the explanations.
And I can't help but cry with Choso.

As far as I remember, Juzou is a specialist in barriers, maybe he has some cursed tool that simulates or creates a simple domain, with that, maki would eliminate the biggest disadvantage of those with celestial restrictions: domain expansions.

I don't think Juzo was a particular expert at barriers. The anti-Gojo curtain he used at Jujutsu High wasn't something he made since he had no idea what it did.

I don't know how Maki is going to get the Zen'in family tools, Naoya is still around, I doubt he'll stay put.

Naoya won't be an issue. Megumi got full rights to use everything in the storeroom in Noabito's will and as we saw, nobody in the Zen'n clan even likes Naoya,

Naobito was even willing to make Megumi, a guy who has had absolutely nothing to do with the clan the leader and give him complete control of the clan's assets, whereas he stipulated that Naoya could control the clan's assets if his uncles gave permission.

Does the selection game conceive a skill right? Will Yuuji get one or will he finally start using the skill of the sukuna in this arc?

You only get a technique if Kenjaku marked you beforehand and used Idle Transfiguration on you. I do hope Yuji does start using Sukuna's techniques though.

Having read this chapter, and unless I have missed something, the 7 to 3 ratio is Nanami's technique. Does this mean this guy will be able to use it ?

I really like the concept of the culling game, although the rules are a bit annoying to remember. But I feel it opens many possibilities story wise, which is good. I really hope we will get to see Todo somehow, because I am really gutted about how the fight against Mahito went and how he is unable to use Boogie Woogie now. That's literally the only thing I disliked about the Shibuya incident arc tbh

I don't dislike exposition chapters in JJK it's just that most of the time I don't understand anything Like I think I understood only half the explanations but I guess once the action start everything will get clearer.

Hakari might not be stronger than Yuuta but Gojo did say at the beginning (when Yuuji was dead) that he was he and Yuuta could eventually surpass him one day (which would be insane). Anyway I've been curious about him for a while, I was wondering why he wasn't at the goodwill event since Kyoto's 3rd years were there.

We're gonna get so many new characters, that's what I look forward to the most !

Poor, poor, Naoya. Got humiliated by a half-curse and a kid for absolutely nothing. Am I the only one that want to see more of the politics within the different clans?

Speaking of clans, once again the Gojos refuse to move. The Kamo and the Zen'in recovered theirs but the Gojos are nowhere to be seen. I didn't think it would be the case but perhaps they do rely almost entirely on a nuke once every century.

Aaaah dw @Tatsumaki I have the same a lot of the times. But tbh, I really like the chapters in between to give us a breather from all the fighting and action scene. As it also explains more about the story itself (and easier to go into detail with that when not in battle). But yes, it does get a bit confusing to me from time to time haha.

I think it was a decent chapter, good to see some more information in regards to the culling game that's starting. The rules seem pretty interesting (with the technique removal, and possibility of adding rules). Does sound like that potentially could be a lot of trouble for the group.
Wonder how we'll meet Tsukimi, once she has woken up.

Megumi was as casual as ever "If I die, just kill him after that" - Perfectly in character. Suits him to act like this.
Loved the little Choso scene, it was very cute.


And good point about the Gojo's yeah.... I wonder if they'll get involved anyway later this arc (or perhaps the Gojo family is being saved for something else in the story?)

Reading these rules reminds me of MG mechanics , but I think I got the hang of it. Like others, the opportunity to implement a new rule is at the forefront. We know our protags' aim and Kenjaku's, but the huge number of third parties can bring this game into pure chaos. Rule 7 states the new rule will be added as long as it doesn't have a lasting effect, so they will be more individualized. Hakari's def gonna be a huge wildcard, the key words were about his strength when he gets worked up, so this game's perfect for him. I'm almost certain he's gonna get on a roll and reach 100, and then what he negotiates will have a big impact. Man, this is gonna be a trip for sure.

Well, look at that. That solves everything. Lot of pressure on the young man, but seeing how he hates the system it wouldn't surprise me if he allowed the gene to die out.
