I think that Yamato is above any Yonko 1st commander.

She has Coc coating
She has incredible strenght going toe to toe with Kaido for a long time.
She is incredibly fast. I would argue faster than kat.
She has an ice armor that protects her from taking any damage.
She has a weapon to block attacks too.
She has raged attacks...

Love Katakuri but he is going straight to the hospital in this one.

Yeah, but she does not have anything to really counter his FS and I think Kata has a lot of means to counter or surpass the perks you quoted.

I don't think it would be an easy fight, it should actually quite close and go either way, but I think Katakuri is more likely to win.

Moreover, we did not see really what King was able to do, same for Beckman. Therefore I'm not that sure about Yamato > Any 1st Commander.

yamato is a little hard to power scale, they are clearly superior to people like Big mom's officers, and the flying 6. But inferior then Yonko's. Other first yonko commanders like marco have feats of holding back yonko's for a time period and the issue is we don't know how long Yamato has been holding off kaido, or a direct fight between her and a yonko commander. they were easily able to keep up with 2nd and 3rd gear Luffy. But i would except that to be true for any first commander.

So i think it's either a yamato win or goes either way. Purely because kaido 1 shot gear 4 luffy who beat kata, but i'm not sure if that's just plot hyp[e for kaido it seems a bit of a joke luffy is that much stronger now and zoro was that strong

Yamato is able to tank a Thunder Bagua from Hybrid Kaidou with her ice wall. Not only that, she brought him to his knees.

She wins.

I don’t see how someone power scales different characters based on damage done to Kaido. When the Scabbards and killer have damaged Kaido……Kaido’s endurance & durability shouldn’t be a determining factor if said character hasn’t fought against Kaido also.

That being Said. Why would we think Katakuri can’t hurt Kaido, when others have, & Katakuri has good CoA better than Luffy at the beginning of Wano.

Also Katakuri’s endurance is pretty damn good also, 1 He stopped himself after being hit by Boundman, he stabbed him self and continued fighting, he let Luffy leave after his King Cobra because he fell on his back, not because he couldn’t fight anymore lol; Why do ppl forget this?! Luffy won over his spirit/will, Katakuri could have continued fighting

I vote Dogtooth, with his FS; His abilities & skills are better imo

All it takes is 1 thunder bagua or maybe 2 ..... but this fight could end within less then 2 minutes. Future sight couldn't even dodge it. If it was anyone else besides yamato luffy kaido or big mom I would say we got a fight but this one I don't think so

It will be a really difficult fight but let's detail each strength

Haki mastery :
Katakuri have the edge with future sight, that an hell ace in the sleeve.
In armament, with CoC coating Yamato have the edge.
Yamato may not touch Katakuri, but the last one may not able to do her signicant damage.

Devil Fruit :
I think Katakuri have a full mastery of his DF, but Yamato's one may be more powerfull as a Mythic Zoan.
Yamato can put a shield, spit powerfull ice blast and possibly even more.
I'll give the avantage for Yamato

Combat Skill :
Yamato is capable of keeping up and tie with her dad, a Yonkou and not the weaker... While Katakuri is shitting in his pant when is mother is in her tantrum...
Unlike Marco and Yamato, he don't even think it's in his reach to stall a Yonkou.

Stamina :
As a Zoan, Yamato also have the edge on this side.

As result, Katakuri is a formidable opponent, but all he got it's future sight.
It's a really powerfull weapon, but may not be enough against engame fighters who are faster, near indestructible or possess wide range destruction power.

Until Katakuri master CoC coating or black blade with his spear, the game goes to Yamato.
With those, it would be a more balanced fight, but without it will just run until Katakuri FS deplete his haki, and then Yamato will stomp him.

Yamato kept up with Kaido and traded blows against Kaido for about 10 chapters (several off-screen, but you can clearly see it in chapter 1024). She is as fast as Kaido. This question of split the sky, it's only when THERE ARE CLOUDS over it. Kaido with pure speed, is superior to FI, Yamato Hybrid is equal to Kaido in speed, so it is fully capable of hitting Katakuri, dodging any type of long-range attack from Katakuri with giant arms, and is even able to make a suit of armor. ice that blocked a fuking Raimei HAKKE from ACOC that is infinitely superior to Katakuri's attack barriers. And it still doesn't need 2 more attacks to win. The Katakuri vs Luffy fight was 12 hours, 12 hours of Luffy being spanked, you can count on your fingers how many hits Katakuri took in all, he is much less resistant than Luffy. IMO Yamato manages to beat Katakuri with one attack, literally. Yamato here is far superior, I would step on Katakuri. Yamato is Admiral level.

Yamato put up a good fight vs Kaido so there is no way she loses to Katakuri.

Katakuri is overrated because of a very long fight vs Luffy who was much weaker than he was in fight with Kaido.
