Don't be confused, this is a Takeshi Konomi twitter account and not a Prince of Tennis twitter account.

That scene is most likely from another manga he has drawn before. Konomi has been posting photos of drawings and plans from his series "Cool Rental Bodyguard"?? Or something like. And a pic of his other one shot too.

Like other mangaka's, he uses twitter to just show panels he has done in his office of his current manga or one shot works etc.
I've seen Konomi's account and not everything is PoT.

Just asked Sai to translate this page, Byoudouin says: "I'm tired of waiting." So it sounds like he and Tokugawa are definitely gonna start their match during these next chapters.

This one shows Ryoga and (at least part of) the first string watching a recording of one of Ryoma's matches on TV (maybe the nationals finals?). Apparently Ryoga was at a tennis academy at the time of the overseas expedition.

He wasn't part of the team when he was at the academy, they scouted him there probably. So the coaches in the camp wouldn't know him.

With that plaster/band-aid on his face, it shouldn't be the Ryoma VS Yukimura match. Ryoma had no band-aid/plaster or anything really since he lost his hat early on in that iirc.

He's using the plaster in the present, not in the recording of Ryoga's story. We can't know what match it is, but I'd say it was the Nationals finals.

I don't see why the national team would watch a random match from the prefecturals or city tournaments to be honest.

Maybe it's from the Higa match? He was using his right hand for a few points at the beginning there at least.

I have a feeling that photo Kaoz just posted is the next color page?
He already gave Hyotei regulars a color page a long while ago so maybe its a another school's turn now that Konomi unfortunately scrapped the idea of MSers wearing U-17 Camp uniform

Sanada actually didn't have his eyepatch, so I don't think so. But maybe Sanada eyepatch is just for show.
