Has to be Kanjuro surviving. I also thought Kinemon being alive ruined his supposed death scene, but we all knew Oda would never kill him anyway.

Hard to choose !!

This arc had so many trash moments

Easily Kin'emon surviving that brutal panel. The flimsy explanation was better than Pound's inexplicable survival at least. But still, Kin'emon dying right then would have added the emotional weight the arc needed, and instead we get fakeout death #49 of this arc.

It's also had the consequence of flanderizing Kaidou as this guy that's seemingly incapable of actually killing someone outside of Oden in a flashback. Fucking Tama and Speed were caught in an open field by Kaidou, wrecked, and then showed up at Onigashima hours later (?) just fine.

Otama and her kibidango shinanigans in the raid was the worst moment of the arc for me, let alone the year.
