Character Liliaden Krauser or Liliaden Kurausa

The thing about Krauser that I noticed they changed (forgot to mention it in my TL Notes) was that his last name isn't in Katakana only anymore. Meaning it's not a foreign word. They actually put his last name all in Kanji. So I'll leave it up to you guys to determine if that means a haffa now lol. If thats the case what do you guys think? Should we be using the same old Krauser or Kurauza (蔵兎座)???

EDIT: I noticed another change that I missed entirely........they added a "to" to his name so I guess Liliadent.....

btw I asked the German mods....they cant come up with a proper german first name spelling for him.....

If he is german than definatly Krauser. But to spell that first name in my native language is more than ugly: "Lyliah-deen" in phonetics (or rather how we would have to pronunce it without breaking our tongus). Nobody here got such a name .

If he is, he's definitely really good, seeing as he was completely destroying Kirihara. He was definitely doing better than Ryoma was in the beginning. He seems pretty damn sweet if that's the case.

A first year means the first year you play on the team, not your age. He is an exchange student, remember? He could very well be Tezuka's age.

But Taka made the regulars when Ryoma did, and he's considered a 3rd year..

Making the regulars just means you are able to play on the main lineup. You can still be on the team like Arai. He is a second year, yet he isn't a regular.

yea thats what i gathered but the two are interlinked, first years are 12-13...which is why Krauser being that age is weird because he already would have had an obligatory 2nd year growth sport.

It should only be referring to how many years you were on the tennis team. Konomi actually screwed up because Krauser was considered a 3rd year in PoT1, and is now a first year in PoT2. He must have officially changed it to "Tennis team years" rather than age or grade.

That still doesn't fill the gap of Tachibana and Chitose being 3rd years, when this is Chitose's first year on Shitenhouji, and Tachibana's first year on Fudomine.

Never thought of that, if thats the case then it's definitely referring to age/grade, whenever someone refers to Momo or Kaido they refer to them as second years..also in some translations first years are freshmen.

Still this doesn't explain Krausers case..

It's possible Konomi made a mistake in the little intro box for Krauser.

He's messed up other things, like giving contradictory scores and the such.
