Yeah and that freeman hint , i suspected her till the recruitment thing, I should have checked the pm format back, that totally misled me. in the end there was 2 escorts as we thought initially.
More exactly i suspected from start then with marma flipping town i started thinking shes town then when hesitating between margi/demon vs Tatsu/son i messed with that recruitment thing

And yep i never trusted demon either. I even posted that genkidama meme lol
Two escorts and two prostitutes and multiple lovers…. :hurr

Well played demon, margi and brandish, you persevered through the swapping and player swap.
Thanks panda and farf for the awesome game and avatars.

I join the the this game never happened gang.

I learned a lot about some players personalities and fiend tactics to get town to lynch daws.
Also learned from van / lambu on how to play when the road ahead is blocked.

See you next game.

@GrySun From my POV it didn't feel like you were focused too much on their plays. Maybe it's because I knew your role but it felt like you wanted to confirm that your guesses were right more than anything.

@Copy Panda @Farfalla Thank you for the fun and the beautiful avatars!

This switch mechanic certainly resulted in some situations pretty interesting situations and some pretty monstrous situations like Jinx's game-long kingmaking against her own team, but it was certainly a spicy game.

Some standout players:
@GrySun Though D1 was particularly iffy, you were otherwise pretty spot on when it came to focuses, especially in regards to GB. I could tell you were goving things some real thought and that's appreciated regardless of the outcomes.

@Vandred I said it before in deadpad, but baiting my support like that was a pretty impressively devious strategy. I would not have been annoyed if you guys won after that.

@MArGi I can tell you were fighting through the stress, but I think your moves were pretty hard-thought and, though the kingmaking done by another influenced things, this win was hard-fought and well-earned too.

Anyhow, those are some of my brief thoughts on things

Overall, I'm glad I joined. Sorry for not being able to focus hard enough to pull out the win this time, but I'll be improving soon enough.

Looking forward to the next one!

Since your D1 guess that Van was Rookie you became too focused on him.

You acted rather similarly once you thought I was Det too.

Even though Van was indeed Rookie, I don't get why his lynch was a priority to you compared to Marm for example.

Oh that‘s what you mean.

It’s because I wanted to confirm whether I blocked the killer or not, for next nights’ sake. Him flipping town would‘ve been very helpful in deciding who to block next. Same if he flips mafia.

But by them never lynching him, I was constantly having to ask myself at night start „so do I assume Vand is mafia rookie or do I assume James was recruited“, giving me more options and decreasing the chance of blocking correctly.

Made things harder.

As for you, I just didn‘t believe you at any point this game lol. Block didn‘t affect that much.

Not that town Demon is any easier to trust

Thinking about how Erin sold us Mafias like we were nothing but only gave light hints that there were tons of lovers... :scry.

But you got Zhongli, all things completely balanced, like this game. :lambirb
Literally used all my luck to get this set :lmao .

Don't know what to think of the game balance yet but the Rookie options weren't great.

Congratulations to the Lovers @Brandish μ and @MArGi for an unexpected but well fought win! Mason's steering the pot so much was a welcome surprise, few games in which I wished for Town's demise like in this one. :XD

Felt bad for Daws and Tatsu tho, true victims of an unstoppable trainwreck :emobirb
Still... Ahahaha Eat that Gry!! :fan

My condolences for the Mafia team. The Boss and Demon were in a rather tough spot since the beggining but they did what they could with the hands they were dealt. Trying to coordinate with you guys and not kill each other was particularly difficult on the first nights, N1 Blunder felt like a personal loss too.
Ironically the doomed towns that became mafos were so close to winning, made my talks about fairness and earnings kind of a meme, but I still hold to them :lmao

I was so happy to be Serial Killer again since my second game 5 years ago, it was short-lived aswell (lol) but I had too much fun to even care. Will make sure to claim retribution from all those I had in my kill list and escaped with their lives, vengeance is a dish better served cold :evil

Thanks for the game @Farfalla and @Copy Panda , sure it had a bit too much... hmm "spice" that got out of hand :blushbirb but I can tell you didn't mean it. I think I speak in the name of everyone when I say we all greatly appreciate the work you put for this, even more when knowing about your health problems during the course of the game. :hug
Thanks for playing everyone, hope to see you again in the next run!

Thank you @Farfalla and @Copy Panda for the game :nod
I really like the efforts you guys put into storytelling and presentation, it's always fun and neat!
Also, on a side note, I felt the majority of the avys were somehow fitting the representation I have of each player ^^ Which is kinda funny because I think they all got it by chance?

So... I know we maybe didn't win this "properly", but still GG @Brandish μ! We did put a lot of thought and time into this game and it worked in the end!
I don't even know how Lovers can win in a more legitimate way, those who did have all my respect ahah
Anyway, I hope we kept all the players entertained at the end lol

To the Mafia team, I know it's just a game and all, but I did feel guilty about deceiving you when you were all being so adorable with me... ;-; I do hope we can be Mafia together again in the future, without any third party ruining the fun!

My final thought on the Lover role: it was fun. Never again.

Thank you everyone for playing and making it all entertaining, see you in the next game! o/

Anywayyyyyy thank you @Farfalla @Copy Panda for the game, it was great !

There is much to learn from this game and I will grow from it (some of you I will never trust again :arf). Thank you to everyone who played and made the game interesting.
Congrats lovers for the win, you pulled it out smoothly. And townies we did our best I guess. Funny how we thought it would be a walk in the park when we devised the plan and in the end this is how it turned out.
(I'm sorry @SonOfDaws senpai for coming so late and not be able to defend you on Day 9 :pout)

I tried to make it a draw but in the end townies had lost no matter the outcome of the coin toss.

Hope everyone had a (relatively) good time ! I will NOT See you in next game !

Firstly, thanks hosts for the hosting the game. From avatar to signitures gifs (omg) @Farfalla raised the art investments bar once again. I am always hoping that promo of this sort will encourage our artist section artist to proactively apply for the MG projects to practise and show off their skills to a larger audience. Super interesting writing backing from @Copy Panda as well, even more notable all down while being in poor health himself, super kudos to pulling through so impeccably.

Game design-wise I read a comment by Jinx that pretty much mirrored my own thoughts.
The swapping was a bit omg. Changing rules was a bit umph.
I didn't really understand how you anticipated that the mechanics will be used, but right after introduction just few posts in lot of players directly bounced ideas of how to abuse and break it. So perhaps include some more reviewing next time around in the development process. I remember the first time trying a mechanic just couple games back, there was also the design mistake made that the whole thing was built under the assumption that the players would use it most rationally. That was a hard slap in the face by reality coupled with lot of anxiety during the hosting process.

The attempt to steer it on day 2 by disabling it completely as a player stuck in a not ideal situation I found to be very uncomfortable with no room to wiggle myself out of it. I remember during that very same aforementioned game I was fighting the urge to intervene very much myself / got convinced by co-hosts to let just let it play out (ironically by the very same panda D: ). As the game progressed it all turned out more or less alright with some learnings to take into the next built. Perhaps you could have done it here as well, with a take like "how much worse could it possible get" lol.

As a player, I had very much mixed feeling using it. In the beginning it felt like Mafia had no chance of winning at all with some appliances of the mechanic. Which sucked for them, but shouldnot be on me here to feel bad. Should have been considered during the very same setup process. So I was much in favour of pushing the tools given by the hosts to their limits.

Tbh I really thought the mechanic was cool and interesting too bad Evil eye was the fun police this game
Yeah, here I totally have to correct you. The architects of the machnics use the way it was used later on were Shad-Lambu-Gry. I joined the discussion much later, just putting the pitched and discussed idea literally into a table lol.

Ironically the doomed towns that became mafos were so close to winning, made my talks about fairness and earnings kind of a meme, but I still hold to them :lmao
It was such an emotional rollercoaster. :bored @Asako and myself are left scared. Doing a strategy to wheck mafia and TP, just to phonily try to sabotage it the very next day, having taken any chance to get rid of the unfavourable role and the ex-owners to quickly turn on you. Not saying I wouldn't have done it any other way, which is where this whole torn feeling coming from. :emocat

All I can say is feck you ex-Mafias you were the worst!!! :yelling:handgun So happy you ended up losing anyways in your new-Town. So, congratz and thank you very much @MArGi & @Brandish μ luv u forever! :chu
