Welcome to the Manga Recommendations forum! The purpose of this forum is to help find and promote unscanlated manga. Manga Recommendation is for readers to point out manga that interest them, that are not available in their native language.
Prefixes:
There is no required format for Manga Recommendations. But do not forget that you are trying trying to draw someones attention, and convince them to put a lot of time and effort into making it available online. Providing a minimum of information will increase the odds that a series is picked up. We suggest adding:
Mangaupdates has incredibly detailed entries about every manga anyone could possibly think of. Mangaka, year of publication, publisher, magazine, demographic, number of volumes, titles in English and Japanese are all available for virtually every manga. Most importantly every entry has a list of every chapter scanlated, date of release, and the name of every group that has worked on it. Please check before recommending resuming a stalled series, be sure that no one is Editing before posting. Also be aware that not all groups release on a weekly basis, a series may seem to be stalled, when in reality the group is just waiting for better raws, working on other projects in their rotation, etc.
This is not intended as a staff recruitment forum. Edited Manga groups looking, or translators, looking to staff a new project should return to the Staff Recruitment area. While it is always nice to offer to help scanlate a manga, that is not the intent of this forum. Manga Recommendations is only meant as a place for readers to help identify new, neglected, or unscanlated manga.
Please do not use this forum to promote favorites that already have active Manga Editors. Please do not use this forum to trade raws. Excessive links to raws or Edited Mangas will be deleted.

- Shounen: For manga from shounen magazines.
- Seinen: For manga from seinen magazines.
- Shoujo: For manga from shoujo magazines.
- Josei: For manga from josei magazines.
- Manhwa: For Korean comics.
- [Name of Manga] by [Name of Mangaka]
- Only One Series Per Thread.
