but even though, Fma is a great manga but still it should nt have outclassed hxh, at least not that much, HxH is clearely the best , i am not even biased, as i said im a huge fma fan. FMA has not barely beat it, the gap is even bigger than in the tpn vs opm, thats so crazy, i honestly don't get it

So the final winner is going to be either One Piece or Fullmetal Alchemist. I like it. Either is a result we can be proud of.

I was backing Gintama but can't really fault it for losing to One Piece just as One Punch-man did. At least it gets to beat HxH like a drum in the consolation round.

Anyway, that was all in good fun.
While the tourney has yet to reach its conclusion, can't say I'm too excited for a 3rd place match up. As much as it sucks to lose(which it does) I'm pleasantly surprised by how far Gintama came in this competition. It's true that Gintama is very popular, but personally, I never see it held in the same regard (in terms of popularity) like an Attack on Titan or One Punch Man, or even a One Piece or Hunter x Hunter, so it was nice while it lasted. And who knows, I might even have the honor of losing twice in this tourney without being eliminated , hopefully not.
Also a big thank you to those who supported Gintama during this run. I know Jammin and Lady pompom were vocal in their support each round and for that they have my gratitude, as well as everyone else who supported the series whether vocally or silently. I still wonder who Battou voted for in Round 2 though.
Best of luck to the finalists. None for you kira.

And at the end of day, hopefully some people can pick up the series. I found myself picking up some series along the way like Vagabond and Koe no Katachi, and plan to pick up in the future, Black Clover and Mahoutsukai no Yome, time permtting.
And there truly were some great campaigns out there(FT managed to creep its way into Naruto vs Gintama as well, courtesy of Brandish), so it was all fun, except going against Wall Lord Emperor Spriggan.
Jokes, he knows I kid. My favorite quote throughout the entire MW:

I wasn't there, but to me it seems like the only decent finale this event could have, considering the participating series. Fullmetal Alchemist is basically a shōnen masterpiece while Hunter x Hunter is an underappreciated display of comprehensive excellence.

Those Wars are not exactly a Battle of Quality vs Quality but rather a Competition of Popularity,who can get the Most Votes aka has the bigger Fanbase.
The Campaigning is nice to look at,and certainly has played its part for many Nominations so far imo. Otherwise i couldn't explain how some Nominations could've made it to a certain Point honestly.

Mweh.Well even though I'm most of the time taking things easy just to bring some salt to people which is quite working, I honestly didn't even know FMA made it to the next round and I'm literally seeing this all today lol. Even so, I just seriously have no time for it atm. It's really coming on a very inconvenient time for me. I mean, for Orgz I would make a campaign post even if it was a ''lel campaign'' post, he is my fellow Fun Forum member man and a nice dude. Would totally do that special for him, however, as I said before I just simply have no time atm. So yeah.

Also after seeing Total-chan post, a part of me wouldn't prolly have done it just to see more salt coming from her. I'm totally liking it~ =)

Personally i think Naruto came quite far,and i myself didn't expect it to lose against Gintama actually while i do like Gintama more i had thought after Naruto beat Berserk and Tokyo Ghoul it wouldn't fall against any Manga till the Semifinals actually.
With Fairy Tail i wouldn't be so sure actually,it was facing One Piece which has a huge Fanbase here on MH and furthermore was dragged down by it's not so great Ending/Conclusion of the War of which i personally think that it surely had an Influence on People's Decision in that Match.

And i honestly think that the Campaigning did play a fair part in that but yeah that's just me,the campaigning is first and foremost for the by you mentioned Reason imo. Which would be to try and influence some People's Decision on who to vote for in case they are struggling between 2 Series that they like to an Equal Amount.

I view these "Wars" more as a Matter of Preference actually,during all the Previous Rounds i mostly voted for the Manga that i liked more if i was conflicted on who to vote for i left it to the Nominators and their Campaigns.
Just my Opinion.
