Most Memorable Death​

It's worth noting that only manga material (between ch967-ch999) are relevant for nomination. For referencing purposes feel free to use anime pictures, providing your nomiation is stated clearly.

As we've lost our regular sources for reading the series, our main source for this event in terms of material will be Mangasee.

Without getting into it too much;

1. Bell-mère's death; shot dead by Arlong. (Chapter 78/Episode 36)
2. Going Merry's Death; burned at sea. (Chapter 430/Episode 312)
3. I might support another death.

These two definitely had the most impact on me of all the (fake) deaths in One Piece.
Bon Clay and Pell would've been nominated if they would've stayed dead as well. Not nominating the more obvious ones (though mine are obvious choices as well).

With those chapters being the only one's eligible then the only death that could possibly be most memorable is Oden. i would list Yasuie but his death was in the 940s.

So i guess Kozuki Oden.

To my knowledge there have only been 5 named character deaths in One Piece this year- 3 of them in flashbacks. Honestly this is One Piece, this thread is kinda pointless. Nobody dies.

Kanjuro's death- the scene itself was memorable, with the Scabbards still weeping and feeling dejected at slaying their former comrade
Oden- The legend of the hour
Orochi - Just the manner in which he was taken out.
