my first works

I have a lot of time and I decided to learn how to draw manga. These are my first works. At the last picture the dress is cool I think but the rest of it just doesn't. Apart from the fact that nobody can turn her head that much like she does what is the problem. I have seen manga hairs which contain only 2 colors without any blur and it still did look much better than this. I could use some helpful advice which describes what I am doing wrong.

Hai deadlock! Welcome to arts section!

I think you've done a great job considering you're still getting to grips with it all. I like the way you've drawn the eyes. Getting better at colouring and toning drawings take time so you shouldn't sweat it. I think you're right about the face in the last link! She's turning as if she was an owl!

The dress top has been drawn very well.

Have you been following particular tutorials online!? I agree with hunter on that. Good luck and be sure to post your progression!
