My shot at Naruto 299

I've been trying to translate ch299 when I find time between working on this site, shannaro stuff and real life stuff, but here's what's done so far:

Page 1:-
ナンバー　２９９：　強さの源。。。！！
Number 299: The Source of Strength...!!

sidebar: 喜び！悲しみ！夢！希望！色んな思いを刻み込んだヒゲ（？）と共に今日をいく！！
Joy! Sorrow! Dreams! Desires! With colourful thoughts carved into his beard* (?), this day starts!!

*referring to his whiskers


Page2:-

sidebar: 吊るされたサイ！しょうげきはしる！！
The traitor Sai! Has been executed!

panel 3: やってくれるね大蛇丸。。。
You've done it now haven't you Orochimaru...

panel 4　sfx: ザザザ
za za za - swift movement

panel 5 sfx: ザッ
zah - swift movement


Page 3:-

panel 1 bubble sfx: バッ
bah - grabs tree

panel 2 sfx: ズキン
zukin - pain
panel 2 bubble: ぐっ。。。
guh - guh

panel 3 bubble: スル。。
suru.. - hand slips

panel 4 bubble: グラッ
gurah -

panel 5: サクラちゃん！
Sakura-Chan!
panel 5 sfx: バッ
bah -

panel 6 sfx: ヒュウウウ
hyuuuu - falling fast (rushing wind sound)

gah - catches

panel 4: サクラちゃん。。。
Sakura-Chan...

panel 6: 九尾のチャクラが毒の様に
Kyuubi's Chakra is like poison
　傷口から入り込んでしまったに違いない。。。
Entering through the wound no doubt...

Panel 7: あれはサクラの医療忍術ですら簡単には治せない
That can't simply be be healed by Sakura's medical jutsu
　だからこそあのチャクラに耐えているナルトが驚きなんだ
Therefore, it's surprising that naruto's able to withstand that chakra

panel 1: こ。。。　これは。。。

panel 4: さっき大蛇丸にやられたの。。。。。。
　でも少し痛むだけだから。。。大丈夫

panel 5: 。。。。。。サクラちゃん。。。
...... Sakura-chan...
　あんまり無理すんなってばよ。。。
You've been (over)straining yourself(ttebayo)

panel 7: 。。。ここで少し休憩しょう
... Let's rest a bit here
サクラはこの隊唯一の医療忍者。。。
Sakura is this team's only medical ninja
　いわゆる任務成功の要だからね
and she's vital to the mission's success

あんまり無理すんなってばよ。。。
You've been (over)straining yourself(ttebayo)

すんな is actually a contraction of するな, which is the negative imperative form of the verb to do. So he's admonishing her: "Don't push yourself so hard!" I'd normally write "overexcert yourself", but this is Naruto we're talking about - the word's probably not in his vocabulary,

By the way, is somebody know what does it mean when something is written into brackets just like on the sidebar of this chapter. Well here it is a "?" whiwh is into brackets but I have already seen kanji in there so I was asking myself what does this mean. Maybe it is just like us, put some text in "commentary" but I would like to know exactly. Sorry for asking some stupid questions

I believe the (?) brackets are regarding the statement about "ヒゲ". It's like, are they really whiskers?

Not sure, but that's how saw it as
