Hi, everyone!

It's been some time since I thought about creating a gallery here and now I finally took my time to gather some of my work, starting with things I submitted to the contests on MH, they are one way that I keep myself busy with art, even though RL work can always get in the way XD

work, work, work... sleep, sleep, sleep​

I usually try to work with my original art, going for third parties for brushes and textures.
My weapons of choice:

Oh that's pretty accurate of you I think. Maybe the nose and the eye sizes could be adjusted( made smaller?) but I can definitely see you there Excellent work.

How long did it take you to work on this?

er, I actually have quite a big nose :T
But, I simplified things, and obviously made myself a bit prettier (who doesn't? :P)
I don't know how long exactly... it took me 3 days after work, I would stop once I had finished my objective for the day - 1: Sketch; 2: lineart; 3: color;
I would say 6 hours maximum.

Well, you see... those weren't three days in a row, unfortunately
it took me more than a week to work those 3 days and another week to scan it (oh god @__@)
I hope to get to a good pace as soon as I'm done training my new intern, so my working hours won't be as crazy as they are now. (even though I'm waiting for photoshop to export some images right now - 11pm on a sunday in the middle of carnival argh I hate some clients)

I'm also working on some other illustrations for collaboration projects, but they will only be released in march, april and may. I'll post those as soon as they are out.

I took part in this collaboration art project for the anniversary of Adventure Time. I worked with a friend of mine to make an illustration of the sexiest princesses eveeer! We were short on time, had the worst schedule possible, but somehow we made it XD

Lol I love the quote and the piece. I don't think I've watched enough episodes to see who Turtle Princess is though. :/

I made it based on a picture, tried my best with the textures (and learned that doing fur is really hard @__@)

I have another one! For Silent Hill this time.
Unfortunately we had a lot of people giving up in the end, so it's not complete, but I ended up with two illustrations on it. Vincent from Silent Hill 3, and my favorite psycho bunny, Robbie XD

Woah the detail on that piece of Vincent , that's awesome work Nana. I think besides yours, I like this one too.

I like her work too... that's one thing I still can't do, cleaving the brush strokes visible to create the kind of texture she uses there. I love the style, but I can't seem to do something like that well T~T

Vincent took me forever to finish, I used a lot of grunge brushes on it. And when I finished I noticed a mistake, hope no one else pay attention to it :P

It's actually a mistake on perspective, since I changed his arm position, his clothes folds should be a bit different, but then I got lost on Photoshop layers XD

And there are more things that could be better for sure, I have to practice more...

I don't know if you read/liked X, but I only got to cover X characters in this Clamp collab project...
I guess I'll post them next week (I have to wait for them to be published, and I'm still finishing the last one @___@)
