Medanore states calmly: "I'm inspired by your evolution."
Romifer: "Sorry, Medanore. I've complicated the fight..."
Medanore: "I don't care, as long as you've tried. We all make mistakes."
*Medanore excuses himself and leaves. Spain's D1 look at each other, knowing there's "another Medanore".
Nanjirou: "AAAAAAAAAH I'M JET-LAGGED. I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD"
"SIR AREN'T YOU JUST HANGOVERING?"
"NONONONO"
Nanjirou: "It's a taboo in any team competition, a demoralising defeat... but these guys are invincible. They are all ready to fight!"
After hearing the announcer call up the teams (mentioning that Spain is now the 3rd in the world ranking) Kintarou looks up at the filled up stadium and thinks to himself that he's at the top of the world. He starts jumping up and down like a monkey.
Ohmagari asks him why he's scared, but Kin says he's just preparing himself like a warrior. He then raises his racket and reminisces Sugi, the woman who taught him tennis .
He approaches the net and smiles at Seda. The latter says he'll cripple him and right before he goes into details is interrupted by Nanjirou. The Japanese calls up Mares, who asks his coach to leave everything to him.
Once the pairs are announced, Mares looks at his partner and isn't quite sure how to deal with him. If I got this right Seda immediately asks Mares "Sis, hood and long pants?" and Mares rejects the idea (lol).
Then Mares serves (AIM AND SHOOT!). Kintarou returns confidently... but his arm is paralysed (for 5 seconds). Seda congratulates his partner on a good serve, as they easily score.

Kin is back up. Ohmagari acknowledges that the Sniping is a hell of a serve.
Kirihara is shocked that this dude is prettier than his sister.
Inui explains that there is a "paralysis gap" on every racket and the sniper Mares perfectly aims at it with his unmatched serve.
Ohmagari assumes this serve has no effect on him, since he can just use his other arm while the other cannot move, but then realises that Mares' ground-strokes can snipe just as well as his serves. The Japanese rep still manages to hold his ground, alternating his arms, although barely. Byoudouin approves and tells Ohmagari to show them his tennis.
Julio remarks it had been a while since he saw someone rally with Mares for so long. Ryoga laughs. Seda, on the other hand, isn't amused and calls Ohmagari a pain in the ass. The chapter ends with Seda attacking him and Kintarou screaming in desperation.

Flashback to an arm wrestling tournament
The 3 favourites of the tournament are Byoudouin, Oni and Duke.
from left to Right (they kind of fit a bunch of pairs they have)
R1:
Duke (Bye)
Date beats Tokugawa
Ohmagari beats Hakamada
Oni beats Nakagauchi
Ochi beats Mouri
Tanegashima beats Irie
Tohno beats Kimijima
Byoudouin (BYE)
R2:
Duke beats Date
Ohmagari vs Oni (?)
Ochi beats Tanegashima
Byoudouin beats Tohno
Ochi takes advantage of his long ass arms to corner Byoudouin. The latter reveals being cornered only made him stronger and comes back like a phoenix, smashing Ochi's arm.
Kimijima points out that Byoudouin really is like a gorila and is glad that he lost to Tohno in the first round. Tohno, with his arm injured, is pissed off because he realised Kimijima let him win.I'm pissed off reading this because this whole idea that could easily injure players was stupid.
PLAY BALL!!!
The other semis are between the king of destruction and Ohmagari, the underdog that surprisingly defeated Oni.
Ohmagari resists the onslaught for 20 minutes. Duke runs out of energy and his opponent takes the win, advacing to the finals.Tanegashima points out that Ohmagari's tenacity and perseverance is unmatched in the G-10(which is funny because Byoudouin has literally died multiple times).
The finalists meet. Byoudouin commends Ohmagari's use of his power but is tsundere about it and says it's not praising. Ohmagari replies it's just guts, while Byoudouin stares at him surprised.
Back in the present, Ryuuji scores, shocking Seda. Byoudouin reflects. Ohmagari always felt he wasn't deserving of his badge as he was carried through the ranks by his doubles partner, Tanegashima, so he always wore his No.6 badge upside down and felt specially bad when he took his place for the finals. Now that his Guts have "switched on", today he unwittingly put his badge correctly, and as the man he is he will go on even with a broken arm.
