Please excuse me if the topic addressed is misinterpreted;

but as i was checking the tenipuri site; i noticed that on June 25th 1 - 2 dvds are supposed to be released titled Memorable Match

I dont understand japanese at all but from the looks of it; my guess is its a re-release of Tezuka vs Atobe match in OVA form;

also Tezuka Ryoma (under the elevated Battle)

It's special Pair Puri DVD's with, yes memorable matches between the various pairs, and seems like some small other new episodes with the pairs as well. There should be more released in August.

No these are not remake. It's only RE-RELEASE only, now, it's in DVD and in HQ, just like how the OVAs are.

But REMAKES is something I am really wishing for them to do. The Rikkai arc surely needs some serious remake.

The whole Anime of the first PoT-Manga should be rebooted/remaked, because they chaned many things in the first anime adaption >.>

The WHOLE anime? Are you kidding? Nah. It doesn't need.

Until the Hyoutei Arc, the anime pretty much stay faithful to the manga. The OVAs did followed closely the manga too. There were changes in Rokkaku but they were a bit acceptable. The Rikkai arc was the thing that was butchered severely so I really would wish for a remake of it.

Yes the whole anime like HxH and FMA Brotherhood. And I don´t liked the changes in the first anime.

Ill repeat it again, its the Rikkai arc that would need a remastering and remaking if there needs to be a remake of anything in this series.

And perhaps Tachibana VS Chitose could have been a bit longer.

I kinda agree the whole thing should be redone....the matches were really eh in the original....if the matches played out like the OVA with more actual tennis than stare downs it'd be awesome. But i'd settle for just fixing rikkai arc lol.

Yeah, Rikkai in the anime I didnt enjoy.
And I hadnt even read the manga. I just didnt enjoy Echizen VS Sanada in the anime.

I read Fuji VS Kirihara, and it kick ass to the anime version.
Same with Niou/Yagyuu VS Oishi/Kikumaru.

Only Momoshiro/Kaido VS Marui/Jackal was done justice. and MAYBE Inui VS Yanagi,
Except Inui randomly using Jack Knife.

Yeah at least 3 matches should be redone. Sanada VS Echizen, Fuji VS Kirihara and Niou/Yagyuu VS Oishi/Kikumaru.

Also, the OVA's about Last year Tachibana/ChitoseVS Last year Kenya/Shiraishi are good ideas.

Surely if theyre doing matches from the past that werent revealed shouldnt they do Kirihara VS Echizen in the Manga match?
That would be great animated.
