One Piece: Best of a Decade
Entering a new decade by celebrating the last 10 years of this amazing series!

Through the years, we've been a bit slack in hosting an annual event for this forum but what better way to get back on track than to comemorate the last decade that Oda has made us cry and excited us!

The event schedule is as below:

Schedule

Nomination Round- 30th Dec to 2nd Jan
Campaign Break- 1 day
Semi Final Round- 4th Jan to 6th Jan
Campaign Break- 1 day
Final Round- 8th Jan to 10th Jan
Ceremony/ Winner Announcements - 11th Jan

As this event is celebrating 10 years of the series, please note this spans from the first official chapter of the decade; ch569, released in 5th Jan 2009 and the decade ends with ch966, officially released 23rd Dec 2019.
Also worth noting that only manga material are relevant to this event when it comes to nominating. However for referencing/ promotional purposes feel free to use anime pictures.

As we've lost our regular sources for reading the series, our main source for this event in terms of material will be Mangasee.

General Nomination Rules

If you want to change your nominations, please quote your original nomination post and clearly state which nominations you want to change along with your new nominations.

• You are allowed up to three (3) nominations.
• Please clearly state the entry you are nominating as well as any further specifics (e.g. characters, chapters, arcs) if required.
• Please bold all your nominations.
• Supporting a nomination does count as nominating!
• The six entries with the most nominations per entry will proceed to the next round.
• If there will be more than 6 in this pool, the staff will break the ties that might occur.
• Nomination Round will last 4 days (ends on 2nd Jan)

Semi Final Round

• You can vote for two (2) nominees
• You are allowed to change your vote
• This round will last for 3 days (ends on 6th Jan)

Final Round

• You can vote for one (1) nominee
• You are not allowed to change your vote
• This round will last for 3 days (ends on 10th Jan)

Event dates and therefore length are subject to change, as we go through this holiday period.

Correction:

Shanks appearing in front of the Gorosei - replacing "Laugh Tale the real name of Raftel". This is officially revealed in ch967, which in turn is revealed in Jan 2020. It is an error on our side for having let this get this far, it shouldn't have been eligible for nomination in the first place. Apologies to anyone who voted for this.

If you all have any feedback, we'll take it on board for future events. Ideally I'd like to have 2-3 events a year for our community (how ever big or small) but time and real life commitments can take over sometimes. That's why this took so much longer than expected
