I like that their encounter wasn't a cliche, she was rude to me, so I'm gonna be better. Instead, through the lens of a fan, another look at the dark side of the entertainment industry.

And wow, the last few pages are GREATNESS. From Akane building up her aura to it culminating in her clashing with Kana, imposing her will. Pure passion burning through my screen with that last panel.

Yeah I also think Akane's display will bring out the very best in Kana, surpassing her limits and matching her.

Sometimes it's surprising how fast a volume goes by. Nice cover, reminds me of their chapter together and the stressors of manga serialization. That was really good.

Aqua and Akane will kiss on screen, sending Kana into a blind rage and she pulls out her best performance ever.

Ai is always in our hearts.

Man, the anticipation growing with each turning page, all for it to come down like a house of cards. Seeing Kana withdraw, her internal thoughts, and her past, hit me .

Reread the chap several times and thoughts are racing. The clash of styles between Kana and Akane doesn't have an objective right answer and really depends on perspective. In sports terms, making the right play vs. getting your own. As shown with Director Gotanda, Kana made the right play as that was Akane's character's moment, and the production will go as intended. However, years of putting a limiter has taken a large toll. The series focuses on eyes, and Kana's were devoid of light as she pulled back. Her contemporaries notice this and wish for her to show out, knowing what she's capable of. On the flip side, we already know with Akane how bad it can get when you crave the spotlight. Even here, she initially wondered if she overdid it. The key is finding a delicate balance, and their rivalry will hopefully help both of them grow. For now, looking forward to how Aqua and Akane push Kana, because she's the star that shines brightest!

Side note at Akane learning Aqua is Kana fanboy lol.

The 2nd half of the chap punctuated with that final panel had me smiling ear to ear . Can't contain my excitement. And nice detail with Aqua's eye, it's never shined like this before.

Hmm, a panic attack is what I thought would happen when Akane's character was slain. But, wow he's possessed and out for blood, might actually hurt Himekawa. Let the hate flow through you. And we know from the early chapter interviews, that this is his method of acting, so the play is the start of it.
