You have some great photos, Wizzard, though when taking skylines you should try and keep the camera straighter IMO.

Now we know what Bulgaria looks like!

Re: Who else on here does photography?

I'd like to see them, as long as they aren't HDR. HDR stands for 'horribly deformed representations', because it looks like someone's taken a perfectly good photo and let a child scribble all over it with a crayon lol.

Do you have any favourites out of the photos I posted?
if you make the adjustments correctly it doesnt really look bad , actually just the opposite ,it looks more realistic
HDR cams usually give bad results but if you take normal shots and then emerge them with HDR softwares , you have better control over the effects and have better results

I don't think I'm very talented at this, but still sharing...

Some city/landscape pictures

location: Paderborn/Germany

And some scenes/slice of life shots

carneval: Cologne/Germany

Copenhagen/Denmark

This is all trash. xD I wish I would have more time to practice, AND a better camera...

Pretty dead thread here but...
Does anyone have experience with Lightroom? How does it compare to your standard Photoshop?
I'm pretty noobish at PS anyway... but is LR more specific to photography in a way that it makes things easier for me? (editing of fine details aside, I guess PS should be more powerful in that aspect?)

From what I can tell, LR is more photography-specific in terms of editing software. It is part of Adobe and so it works well with PS. Not that I've used it, mind you. I mean, you can still do pretty good photo editing with just your standard PS, so LR would be for those with a keener eye for detail and professionals.

I found this interesting video while browsing earlier, which prompted me to revive this place:
