Aaaaanyway, i dunno if you've heard about it but there has been a Cease and Desist by Publishers to Edited Mangas. Like, for.real. including MH.

I'm really sort of panicking, depressed, frustrated, nauseous at the thought.

It's all fair to them countries who actually get manga.

Good luck nalang sa mga pinoy. I'd buy manga if i could get my hands on them, but the ones I can find are usually Yaoi, or a random volume of some mediocre shoujo manga.

any reaction to this? any solutions?

re:manga- They can't do anything unless they crack down on IPs, which is highly unlikely since IPs can be changed with a snap.

It's already next to impossible to find RAWs online nowadays, and I rely on raw a little bit too much. Alam ko walang manga sa powerbooks, I'm not sure if that high-end bookshop in The Fort has manga.

Fully Booked carries manga, just not the ones we want (if they do have them, they're outdated)...

Bah... I guess this means that I'll be giving up my manga titles. cbf to learn how to do it old school (didn't start reading manga till scans were available for d/l).

Actually... all I ever did was spam google for manga (pre-stoptazmo days), then my friend showed me stoptazmo, then I got banned for picking a fight with a mod in the making (got banned soon as he became a mod; at the same time the mod i was friends with quit...), then I came here...where manga is easily accessible.

hmm. which brings me back to pre-MH days...

it was sometime in 2004 when i couldn't wait for Naruto episodes to come out weekly anymore. I did my research and discovered the world of manga.

then I reviewed all the anime I liked, Fruits Basket being the turning point because I wasn't satisfied with just one season, and began looking for its manga. These were the dismal times for shoujo. Nobody loved it as openly as they do now, and scans and translations were so goddamn hard to find. Let alone Edited Mangas!

I found raws, and I found translations, but nobody would scanlate these awesome chapters. Another milestone, I clicked on Photoshop (yes it was installed for a long time but I was too much of a wuss to use it then) and started Editing! zomg!

then I looked for Edited Manga tips, and then I stumbled upon MH. there ya have it. my "how I came across MH story". I'd also been lurking for a long time until discussions in the Naruto section were so interesting I decided to finally chime in. I think everybody starts in the Naruto section. Unless you guys prove me wrong.
