I'm only messing with you. I read to chapter 5. It's decent so far. I would suggest that people read up to 5 as well as I would've dropped it had I stopped at 2.

Unfortunately, I'm not liking the main character and heroine for the same reasons I don't like Mel and Elizabeth. He's way too sexual harrasy and she's way to naive and push overy.

The concept is nice, but a bit weird. If you have a higher count than someone, you can force them to do whatever you want, but then a low number can challenge a high number to a Startheft Bout? I feel that kinda supercedes the latter if the number difference isn't that high.

I went ahead and binge read it. It's alright, but I don't see myself remembering to keep up with it.

The best parts of the series don't deal with the main character or heroine, but the actual intrigue of the alliances and betrayals and whatever with the side characters. Those relationships are interesting. There are some decent backstories in the series and it does manage to have past decisions influence the actions of characters in a good way.

The romance bits are the worst parts of the series.

The only aspect of it I like is how the heroine flipped the script on the main character and molests him now. I do not like that he's basically her "uncle" though. I also hate that this is another series where everyone wants to jump the MC's bones. Like NNT, the series does the bare minimum of showing why this dude is so worth it.

The art is rather generic. It gets the point across, but there is not much else to it.

Pretty great this is a really good series.

I'm actually not very eager to pick up new series at this point, since I already picked up four series lately. But well, I thought shooting a glance at Plunderer won't harm anyone, so I skimmed through the first three chapter and it's honestly not my cup of tea, like not at all. I found myself rolling my eyes as much as I usually did with Fairy Tail due to the weird fanservice spammage. : /

So I finally got time to get into this one and so far I am liking it. I’m not too far yet but I plan on reading it until I’m fully caught up.

I meant to say this a while ago but I do like the way this manga portrays the horrors of war and the inevitability those horrors.

I’m not sure how caught up everybody is but there was a character I thought was really cool and the manga managed to destroy him for me in an instant in incredibly creepy fashion.
