All right folks, this is been such a long time. Now for those you miss what is going on here is a summary about what exactly happened,

While Soma finally beaten Hayama in their third battle that also causing the latter's expulsion, bad news also grew from the other side as well. Out of all Team Rebels who faced the E10, only Erina, Megumi and Takumi joined Soma in passing the Promotion Exam's Stage Three, with the God Tongue passed by default while Megumi and Takumi are spared due to Rindou's bizarre challenge. Erina rushed to her father and pleaded him to cancel her friends' expulsion but to no avail. Deeming enough is enough, Soma challenged Azami in a Team Shokugeki in order to bring his friends back, to which Azami refused until Saiba, Doujima and Senzaemon joined the remaining four where the unsung legend proposing Régiment de Cuisine, a Team Shokugeki where everyone will have a team cook off.

Afterwards, the remaining four then listened to the history lessons from Saiba, Doujima and Sen about the past, especially why Saiba's reason in quitting schooling and the rise of Azami's inner darkness. So,

Some time after their training, Team Rebel and Team Central met at a remote island where the deal begins: If Team Rebel wins. During the deal however, Azami kept pressuring Erina in assisting , against Soma's own protest. To the Central's surprise however, Erina finally stood out for herself that she relinquished her 10th Seat for the sake of her friends.

And now, the day has come! The final feud between Soma with the Central are set at Renbu Island where the crowd are favoring the Central more, including its recent mouth piece Urara. However, Team Rebels has their own additional members that including Erina, Subaru and even the former E10 members who join their cause. The stakes cannot be any higher as the Team Rebel's, Erina's, and even Central's future will be put on the line, and consequences for losing will be dire. So who do you think will win this Team Shokugeki? Will Team Rebel' be ever bring freedom from the Central's sinister grip and ending its tyranny to the students? Or will Team Central finally getting rid of its nuisance that been a thorn to Azami's plot?

So who do you think will win this Team Shokugeki?
I think the answer is clear: The rebels will win, else the 12 last chapters will have been for nothing

Seriously, is there even a need for this question? Of course, the rebels (protagonist) are gonna win. You'll be silly to think otherwise.

Let's say Central does win. What then? It'll be game over. All the remaining rebels will be expelled, which includes the core characters: Soma, Erina, Megumi and Takumi. Worse of all, Erina and Joichiro will have to commit their lives for Central cause. All of these character development they have done in the past chapters, will have been for nothing. The series would have committed suicide if it comes to that.

The suicide was already been commited though, the author just decided to put Nene the 2nd year strongest on the chopping block for soma, so now we know there isnt gonna be a 3rd year.

I was already fearing for this ever since the Eizan fiasco, but now this is getting out right senseless, Rindou hypes Eizan after his loss that if went out of his consultation work to get more into puré cooking he would surpass multiple seats in the E10, next time we see him, he´s just red angry, there´s literally no other change in his chracter.

Only way for the series to continue would be with high quality transfer students, but Azami doesnt even get to try that out apparently.

What.

Nene is going to lose to Soma with help from Satoshi and Tosuke, not in a pure 1v1. There is a lot of room for a third year after this over.

If Nene and Eizan lose in this regiment their odds of beating Soma anywhere in the future are gonna be close to zero and while it´s true Soma has better teamates, we as the readers would still need to see some good evidence of him being lower than Nene level in their cooking level per say.

As a veteran reader to the series, one should have know by now that Soma himself is no stranger to those who belittled him and yet they challenged him anyway simply just to prove their superiority over him. Call me nuts but I can give you a few list here: Ikumi, Subaru, Alice, even Eizan and Hayama? They all have tried in humbling the hero by their own skills only to astonished by unexpected surprises along the way. I don't think Nene herself to be more different, considering her try to make Soma (again, the son of the unsung legend Saiba) cry over his defeat, which I pretty predicted that she will the wrong who cry for her defeat than him.

While we are pretty much stating the obvious, you should know what Central has their tricks on their sleeves just in order to get their chances even with the rebels, even if that chances are slim to none, especially the part where Azami willing to do anything in order to have Saiba and Erina summit to the Central.

Not the word likely, but indefinitely because, if anyone is familiar with the recurring tropes in the series, you are dreadfully wrong if you think the Yukihira Genius will be heartbroken by a mere set up or loss, period. Remember there was a time where Nene silently giggle over Eizan's defeat by Soma? That will going to bite her back when she had to put herself in Eizan's shoes for her defeat against Soma. Heck, if this will be the single and official Shokugeki, if this is not a team Shokugeki, Soma would probably have 7-0 run by having Nene joining the list of his defeated opponents...

Soma is a special case same thing with erina but for the rest power level logic still applies and for them to surpass these elites they need to rely heavily on teamwork so there's that.
