she is good so far, opposite of how lucy started. I love how social media add on to her character.

More interesting then Lucy, has a more interesting dynamic with her counterpart with her being more knowledgeable and cynical about the world and people. It implies not just experience and darker aspects to her life. But, also that Edens zero will go places FT didn't touch.

I will say her and Shiki role switch around a bit. Though it definitely for different reasons. Shiki is ignorant of the world and childlike, Rebecca is implied to be wearing more a mask and there more to her.

I'm not so sure. Both Lucy and Rebecca arr similar in many ways. With both being adventurous.
Elie from Rave Master is far more complex. Due to her origins.
Hiro Mashima is so established now that it will be hard to avoid a magnifying glass on his work though. And we need more chapters like 20 or so before we can make a more in depth view of her.
As much as ahe seems different more seems similar with her wsnting to make fame.
Also the 4th wall break referring to FT is a bit unnecessary. Since wanting to be different and emphasizing on it more often shows how similar it is.

One of the few times I like a female main characters - she is pretty badass and kind. The YouTube reference also makes me laugh so yeah,she is enjoyable

Well after reading few chapters i can make a comprehensive analysis of Rebecca.

Her good features

She is badass

She knows how to fight.So there is no chance of damsel in distress.Her character shows a good trait because of that.


She is unlike many shounen female leads

She is shown to be different.She is no tsundere like Noelle from Black clover which is a huge plus point.She is interesting and normal unlike any tsundere characters.She is much developed character also.She reminds me of Lenalee from D Gray Man or Winry from Full Metal Alchemist in some of her characteristics.

Im honestly in love with her, shes such a capable character thus far and is very entertaining, also you know once the inevitable time-skip arc comes along I would love to see her develop an ability to equip happy in a somewhat robotic spacesuit type of way and would be able to use her palms as blasters

Although it sounds obvious but it is likely that Rebecca's Ether Gear is: Shot Type, Archer Class or Shooter (Edens Zero has RPG Thematics). Type Light (Refence to Lucy). I support more the First. In fact, there should be a Forum to Talk about Ether Gear or Other Ether Gear Possessing or Possessing the Characters that have Come Out Until Now.
