Special Move ryomas and ryoga's hidden tech

Anyone notice that Ryoga and Ryoma returned the shining shot, they did it with only 1 hand,

while Oni and Byoduin had to use 2 hands to return the shot.

There must be some secret trick to return the ball so easily.

Ryoma and Ryoga returned the shots with their forehands whereas Oni and Byoudouin used backhands, I think that's about it really.

It might have been. But i figured oni and byodoin had to use both hands to return it.

Oni was trying to stop the force of the shot and the force/wind made a cut on his face. He used 2 hands to return the shining shot where as ryoma didn't,

And when ryoma returned a shot aimed at either tokugawa's head or body, tokugawa didn't get any damage, but tokugawa being behind the ball, should have still been hurt , since we saw oni struggling to return the shining shot, and resulted in his face getting cut, and the wall being damaged despite the ball not even touching the wall and the force of the shining shot causing the damage.

No real proof but that's why my theory.
