That finish!

Buddha bros, our prayers bore fruit!

I can now say this is my favorite fight. Recency bias sure, but I’ve been touting this fight for some time now. First, it was Buddha living up to the hype in a fun, great way. Then connecting with Zero and intertwining their fates, which brilliantly set up their volund. Against Hajun, we saw Buddha driven into a corner and what he’s made of. Hajun himself was simply a monster and provided epic-memeable faces. The fight itself was a spectacle. The VIP guests, art, choreography/dynamics, weapons, the clashes (that final Hajun strike, woah) and especially the dialogue and facial expressions were top-tier. And then conclude it with Buddhas fake-out and strike, and Zero's double thumbs up smile, happy tears were shed.

Speaking of VIP guests, Beelzebub and Hades were great. Now a lot of intrigue for when Beelzebub fights. And Hades is an absolute boss. The man just ended Ares career as a God, RIP bro and called Zeus a fool too. Looking forward to how his role progresses in this. HM to Socrates, Jesus, and Confucius. Also, Buddha’s bro at the end making a cameo

That ending was very satisfying. I'm glad Zero was instrumental in helping Buddha. He deserved a break.

I hope the next fighter is Okita. And with Buddha's defection can we assume one of the humans will defect? Maybe they'll be promised divinity or something. Power has always been the greatest lure for humans.

You think so? He seemed quite happy when Buddha won, plus he was ready to fight Bishamonten and his posse in the garden before the official fight. If anything i'm thinking Rasputin or Tesla.

He just has a villainous face. And it seems less like happiness that he won and more like him enjoying violence.

The Rasputin one I could definitely see. It actually makes the most sense given who he is in comparison to the humans left

Regarding a human traitor, it's still something I'm on the fence about. When would it make sense? I can't see the Gods enlisting a human after a loss, and after a win, wouldn't they just want to keep the momentum going. Maybe if they get a decent lead, say 6-4, to rub it in? Another idea I saw and like is a round featuring a 2v2, another way to shake things up and also take of the extra human, tho extra Gods would need to be added as well.

As for Okita, I still think he'll face off against Loki, hopefully next. The confrontation during rd.5 could've been seen as a tease, as Buddha did indeed go up against the Lucky Gods/Zero.

Wouldn't surprise me if this round is consider null and Hades takes Buddha place.
