I’m not overly surprised. He seemed far stronger than any human revealed so far (though Lu Bu has him beat in pure power) his skill is undeniable.

Yes.


Personally, I think people not believing in Greek God anymore have a lot to do with it. The author doesn't displease anyone having them lost a lot.

China having 1:1 win lose ratio instead of 0:2 can be seen as catering to China. Narratively, Greek having 1:3 ratio sucks a lot. Yes, I'm aware the alternative is China having 0:2 which is bad for Chinese and Greek Gods having 2:2 ratio which make them ok at best. But Greek Gods are GODS. Gods should be above individual nation.

Of course, it's kinda politics and just a guess. I'm not sure if it's true.

It's not the first time fan impacts the manga though. Hikaru no Go shows this pretty well.

Okay this is easily one of, if not the best fight so far and it’s going to be incredibly difficult to top. The manga did something it attempted earlier and failed in my opinion, try to make us care about both sides. Hercules being part human and going up against Jack The Ripper , someone considered even in the manga to be a vile human being, was meant to illicit conflicted emotions because Herc isn’t a bad person and doesn’t hate humans like the others.

On the other hand, it succeeds here simply because of how likeable Hades and Qin Shi Huang are.Hercules might not hate humans but he still fought for the gods. Technically Hades did the same but it was less about Ragnarok and more about his brother because that’s the kind of guy he is. We’re endeared to Qin because of how much his life sucked before he dedicated himself to being the best emperor and his current cause doesn’t need anything extra because the gods are going to destroy humanity should he and the others fail. Then we throw on the fact that they’re both incredibly prideful rulers and it’s hard to tell who to root for and who seems like they’re going to win. They’re both so prideful and strong that before the spoilers I couldn’t tell who was truly winning the fight . This was amazing and needed after Raider vs Shiva.

I didn’t want to be the one to say it. It Yes. This fight was amazing. Especially this last chapter. Easily one of the best fights of the series, so far. I think this gives Hercules & Ripper a run for their money.

Jack vs Herc was also my favorite but it’s definitely less clear after this one

Didn't know people liked Jack vs Hercules that much. I personally hated Hercules, found him very annoying, stupid and his abilities weren't that great.

This fight is definitely one of my favorites.

I didn’t particularly care for Hercules as a character but I loved the fight in general. I’m a sucker for characters who win fights through intelligence rather than brute strength. The way Jack fought Hercules is why I loved it. Granted, part of the reason Jack was so successful is because Hercules just kept believing him for no reason.

Pretty nice to see Alvitir play a big role in the final clash. The loli valkyries are the best volunds. Which means Goll must be pretty op, and i believe there's another one too.

The fight was pretty cool with a strong final clash, two chads duking it out. Appreciate the send off for Hades, though I wish the authors fleshed out Hades more. I respect the brotherly love, but would've also liked a chapter focusing on him in Helheim and Persephone. Overall, I think I'd rank this fight 4th on my list, tho there's a big gap between my 4th place and 5-7.

So, who do you think goes next? It's gonna be interesting now with the gods facing a deficit. With the 1-3 record for the Greeks, cross off Apollo next. Beelzebub might be interested seeing that Hades died, but sending the guy eager to die lol. So I guess Loki or someone new like Susanoo. For humans, I'll say Okita or Nostra.

I think the next line ups would be cool to see based on their real life exploits/traits. Though they are often either direct opposites or have things in common.
Rasputin vs Loki (trickery)
Nostradamus vs Odin (violation of that weird portal)
Tesla vs Beelzebub (science)
Simo vs Apollo (ranged combat)
Soji/Kintoki vs Susano (swordsmanship - again)
Kintoki/Soji vs Anubis (????)
And since the gods are down 1 fighter Adamus will most likely have a part to play probably vs Leonidas (Conquest)
