Spoiler: Credits from Planet Render

The topic about Planet Renders links, the problem is...

When you found a render in this website you usually copy the link that is located in the upper bar of your browser. Later that link wont work for you or for anyone else who wants to see the picture even if your registered or not. The solution is that instead of copy the link from that bar, look for the details which are below the picture:

See the URL part and copy the link. That way you should not have problems and everyone will be able to see the render. It worked for me in the dragon contest.

Spoiler: Finding source website for images

If you still have the pictures you used, you can upload them to this and it'll find websites with the same picture on it. You could use them to source it.

Spoiler: Making thumbnails for submission

The problem with WhatWhatinthebutt's submission has been corrected. For future reference, you should enter the submission code in the following way:

Spoiler: PNG files and this contest

The MH gallery has undergone some changes in the past month or so. Images that are PNG files may end up compressed into JPG files. (GIF files still seem to be okay also. So far, it just seems to be PNG files.)

Thus, if you create an entry in PNG format, you should upload a JPG version into the gallery for your submission. You can put the PNG version into your submission post via a link or in a spoiler box.

made a submisison for the dragon theme. can't seem to find the stock for one of the pictures that i used sorry...

If you still have the pictures you used you can upload them to this and it'll find websites with the same picture on it. You could use them to source it.

I had problems with PNG in MH gallery too. But I saw that, even if it compresses the img as JPG, you still can get it as PNG from MH gallery. For example, this img:

If you right click it and copy the URL, you'll get a JPG img (http://static.mangahelpers.com/gallery-previews/12262.jpg). But if you just left click the img, you'll get the original PNG in a new window (http://media.mangahelpers.com/downl...3d7da31c30c8382/4d3ee5f3/12262/UnderFinal.png).

This way, you can still upload your PNG imgs on MH gallery to submit it in the contests. The PNG stays there, just need another click^^

Sure, you can submit it as a PNG and display it fine in your submission. The problem I've noticed is afterward.

When the voting starts or if the image makes it into the hall of fame

I've noticed this especially with the .gif images...
