Various systems.
Some are for the GBA, others can be found on the PS2, I think.....
I only have the ones on the GBA, Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1 and 2....but I have played some of the others with some of my friends.

Some of the later editions of Super Robot Taisen feature characters from other mecha-centric anime shows like Gundam, Macross, GaoGaiGar, Getter Robo, and even a few obscure ones like Neon Genesis Evangelion* For info on those series, look them up on ANN or other sites.



*=If you've seen what Shinji is like in the series, his SRW incarnation is a complete OPPOSITE of his animated character. SRW Shinji acts badass and insults other characters for whining and having too much angst......I kid you not.

I know....but, Shinji pretty much chews out Gundam SEED's Kira Yamato in SRW: Alpha 3....for acting whiny and angsty, which is what Shinji is best known for.....I didn't believe it either until I saw it.....
Check on Youtube, someone probably uploaded the aforementioned scene between Shinji and Kira.

Well, The Evangelion part was mostly covered in SRW : Alpha (or was it Alpha 2 ?) So of course Shinji is a lot more mature in SRW Alpha 3. I think the scene between Kira and Shinji was pretty nice, and that is, after all, the greatest part of the SRW series, the fact that all these Super Robot and Real Robot heroes are all together in the same game, and the scenario is still coherent Kira is still the coward we all know at the beginning of the game, but he gets advices from Shinji Ikari, Ray Amuro, Koji Kabuto... Playing a SRW is really great for that, if you have seen at least some of the included series
