Wow, 4-1. This is going to be an interesting second leg for both ties.

Congrats to Germany. This is clearly a show of power, simply amazing what Bayern und Dortmund showed so far.

Lewandowski looks like scoring everytime he gets the ball. Well, if the match stays as it is, Madrid have the way goal, so they've got something to work from in the second leg. Though I doubt it's going to change anything; the Bernabeu is not exactly a fortress.

How much did Lewandowski increase his value by today?

Dortmund smacks down Madrid comprehensively.

We're now on to part 1 (2) of version two, so something like part three.

Re: The Football/Soccer Thread v2 - Part 1

Dortmund was simply better in every aspects such as defense, offense, pressuring. Their quality of passes was beyong amazing and they actually work has a team. They have this chemistry that not many teams have. I was actually mesmerized by their gameplay. Lewandowski is a monster but his team enabled him to become one. Every passes to him was perfectly placed and Lewandowski only had to seal the deal.

This was one of the greatest showings I've seen in a while. When a team plays like that, i completely understand why i'm in love with football.

The world cup is going to be interesting, Germany was close to winning it last time but 2014 might just be the year for them to finally bring the WC home.

The CL final is going to be amazing :D unless the spanish teams wake up but i really doubt it at this point.

At least 15.000.000€. Sad thing in Dortmunds pov is that his contract only lasts one year (30. June 2014).

If I had to choose, I'd want them to win it too, since Barca obviously won't and I don't like Bayern because they knocked us out. I'm indifferent to Madrid but Jose's arrogance is being put right. :nod

Even 3 matches would be too much. Yeah he bit someone, so? that's a red card... only that. It's not as if he could have injured Ivanovic nor something like that. In every match there are worse things like that, any kick from behind is actually worse.

He's only getting 10 matches cause he's Suárez. Funny, he's being discriminated.
You're wrong. Sorry.

You think 10 matches is fine? You think that biting is worse than kicking someone else from behind?

You have to consider his history. At least, that's how I think it should be handled. Kicking is part of the game, biting isn't. If he had kicked someone while down, 10 matches would have been appropriate as well in my opinion.

His history? He had a long ban before (because of racism), what would a longer ban do right now?

Ok, kicking isn't worse. If someone bites it's just painful, if someone kicks there might be an injury, I get it.
