Friend of mine owns this. He loved it so you're in for a treat.
So far I am enjoying it but it is a thick book and the size of the letters is small...so I know it will take me a couple of weeks to finish the book. ^^

Best thing about books is that it doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as you enjoy it.

I completely agree. The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera was very thick as well and when I least expected it I had finished reading it.

I have never heard of that one. I'll add it to my list.

I'm more of a thick book guy, because usually the author is able to pack in more making the book better most of the time.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being is a very good book. The characters and their interactions are quite interesting.

There is also a film about it..I haven't watched the film yet though...
If there's one thing I've learned over my experience of reading books, it's that the movies make them worse.

It depends...some movies based on books were actually really good like the TLOR. The books are great but I love the movies.

I haven't read the book but I watched the film and the film is amazing. Other movies based on books that were very good are: The Bridges of Madison County and The House of the Spirits.

I don't know if this counts but there was a series 1967 tv series based on Pride and Prejudice and it was really good.

I haven't read Pride and Prejudice but I watched the movie (the latest one) and it was very good. Another good movie based on a movie is The Lover.
