My mom used to boil eggs, when she did she used a timer for that, which had the same exact "ping" as our microwave.
Never having witnessed the miracle of boiling eggs, I tried to make them one day too, when I was home alone.

So I grabbed about 5 eggs and put them in the microwave, put it on 8 minutes and I went back to gaming.
However, once I sat down.. the microwave practically exploded. There was egg e v e r y w h e r e. The door of the microwave blew off and egg was over the counter, on the walls, in the curtains, on the ceiling. Everywhere.

And the smell.. Oh, the smell..

Ooooh, I've done that!

We used to do egg races, where everyone wrote their name on an egg and the last person whose egg exploded had to do a punishment.

Ain't no way I'd waste good eggs nowadays
