The TMI-Scans Thread

We are TMI-Scans and our primary project is FullMetal Alchemist. TMI stands for Transmuting Manga Inc which we feel is pretty much what we do when we scanlate a manga. We first analyize the components, then deconstruct them and finally reconstruct them. We are a new group and just released our first chapter a couple of weeks ago on the 21st of September. We are also a growing group and still in need of new members. I put this group together not only to do FullMetal Alchemist but to be a teaching group. As such we take on new members and train them in cleaning and typesetting. Our website is www.fmahq.com and our forums can be found at www.fmahq.com/forums

Edit: Our staff has had a major population explosion in the last couple of weeks so this list is no longer current... When I have a chance I will work on updating it.

Not all our staff are members here at MH but some certainly are. We've come a long way from the four members we had when I started looking for other staff.

So sorry it has taken me so long to answer. I have been rather sick of late. Right now we don't have plans to scan any other manga. But we are doing all the one-shots Hiromu Arakawa sensei. There is a lot of work involved in doing this manga so unless we get a lot more cleaners then I can't see picking up any additional work. Oh and we are also working on the Perfect Guide book 2 for this series.

Yes Qwan3356 we train people in cleaning and typesetting manga. If you have the drive to learn we will work with you to get you at a good level quality wise.

Thanks. It was my plan to do volume 14 & 15 but Viz is catching up so fast that I'm thinking we aren't going to do them at this point.
