Discussion Thoughts on viernes? gold dragon god

You know, i decided to make a thread about it because this dragon has only been mentioned once 76 chapters ago (over 2 years), he hasn't even made a physical form and no other dragon god, not even elefseria talked about him since then, there has been no mentions or hints about him yell the earth dragon god, a DG that has only existed for a few chapters has been mentioned way more then viernes has.

Not just that but even mercphobia doesn't know a single thing about viernes so i probably think that viernes is gonna be the strongest DG and the final boss in FT 100 YQ since his power is still unknown

unless mashima forgot about who the 5th dragon god was and replaced him with earth instead.....

There's really not much info on him at all. At the moment with Selene and Ignia still in scene, I think they've already established themselves as very strong antagonists, I cannot imagine how Mashima could write Viernes in a way to make him more villainous than the two. However I do have a theory him being a Gold DG, he might have some sort of power that could involve Aquarius's gold key. So let's say if he isn't endgame, his arc could probably provide some sort of character development

Gold dragon, Gold Owl, I do wonder if there’s a connection. This could lead into Viernes’ arc, though I’m finding the alchemy guild’s own plot more interesting at the moment, so not bothered at all if it’s a mere coincidence!

I think originally Viernes would be part of this arc, but Mashima must be following his own arc for the Dragon.

We still don't know exactly what Viernes is, apart from the fact that he is a Dragon. But I guess he could be a spirit, that's the most generic hypothesis.

Could his subordinates be unknown constellations of the Zodiac? Who knows.
