Tifa and her Husbando

12 years prior to the story

Her mother died, while Tifa was just 8 years old. Not being able to understand what had happened,
she decided to climb the mountain right behind her hometome, because Tifa believed, that her mother was waiting there for her.

~Nature, eh?~

Tifa went alone, without any of her friends. Just her neighbour Cloud, who she barely knew at the time, followed her in secret,
trying to protect her.
While passing a wooden bridge, the latter collapsed and both kids fell off the mountain and were lucky enough to survive.
Tifas father found them both and put all the blame on Cloud. Tifa started to get interested in him though.

~Even as a small child she wanted her hubby to look at her~

7 years prior to the story

On a certain night, Cloud invited Tifa to the water tower of Nibelheim.
Her Hubby telling Tifa, that he wants to leave their hometown the following year to join Shinras military division.

~Your eyes are pretty...~

The reason being - of course - to impress the young beauty who is Tifa.
Tifa spoke up - being a bit sad her Hubby was leaving her as well - and wanted him to promise her something.

~Hey Cloud. Promise me something...~

She made him promise to come save her if she ever was in trouble.

5 years prior to the story

After long years of training, Cloud finally managed to become a first class SOLDIER, the highest rank in Shinras military division.
A mission had him, as well as Shinras best soldier, Sephiroth come to Nibelheim.

~Finally reunited after five long years~

Tifas heart was beating like a drum. Her beloved had finally returned.

Though that mission was the turning point in their lives.
The incident which is only know as the "Nibelheim Incident" had Sephiroth turn psychotic, killing most of the villagers, including Tifas father.
In rage she tried to kill Sephiroth with his own sword. But...

~Their meeting had been cut short~

Tifa was severely injured, not even realizing that her Hubby fulfilled their promise and protected her, while killing Sephiroth in the process.
Her sensei, who trained Tifa in martial arts, managed to bring Tifa to Midgar, treating her wounds and saving her life.
Tifa didn't see her hubby again. For five more long years.

~A new beginning~

Tifa found her hubby at the train station and was overjoyed. By then she had already joined the freedom fighters of Avalanche and easily convinced him to join their cause. Mostly because with that, they were together once again.

~Cloud, can you do me a solid?~

Those were a lot of spoilers and I fear not everyone wants to take the risk. Especially people who are new to the story.
This is just part 1/2 of their story.
The second half will be posted during a later stage of this event.
