I guess 143 really hurt the sales.

Taking into account the sales figures for the last few volumes, which have remained pretty stable (on a comparable time frame, volume 10 was at 572,550, volume 11 was at 588,746 and volume 12 was at 567,442), volume 13 has sold roughly between 7% and 10% fewer copies.

I have no idea whether that's considered really bad or negligible fluctuations for the time being, though.

For a Seinen stacking up against a Shounen Jump beast like One Piece and greatly esteemed Seinen Kingdom, Tokyo Ghoul:re is doing very well in my opinion.

For a Seinen stacking up against a Shounen Jump beast like One Piece and greatly esteemed Seinen Kingdom, Tokyo Ghoul:re is doing very well in my opinion.

I never said it is doing bad.In fact coming in top 5 of any list is a huge achievement.

But I personally would have wanted it top be 2 as this is my favourite manga.

Then I could boast to my friends and influence them to read more.

And they read OP and Kingdom so I wanted to show off to them TG beat their manga's.

But anyway hopefully this rank will be enough to to bring them into TG fandom.

So it would seem TG:re is "heading towards its final arc". Welp, can't say it's out of the blue, but whether or not there will be any kind of continuation is what's still up in the air.

It's good news, as far as I'm concerned. I really wouldn't see it dragging on for much longer.
