I remember I had made a deduction that Rei would be around floor 40, but I would have to go back.

My guess comes from the fact that they specify that Lobadon is on the 44th floor, away from the mother ship. If they were on different floors there was no need for this information.

So, a simple frontal assault? Seems a bit too... idk, undramatic for Gustang. He's always scheming. I could see their forces both going head-to-head, but what's the angle for the FHs then? Just butting heads?

If Zahard didn’t pardon the past princesses who tried to marry and make a family much less baam who is a slayer candidate raised by fug to kill him

Why would it be? If Traumerei's plan is a success, then Baam is marrying into the Ten Families and 'settling down'.
