Touta, a male protagonist, called Negi a "Grandpa" in front of his grave. So, I think he is a grandson of Negi.

What a great opening with one of my favourite characters from Negima. So much action, blood, little to no fanservice. It feels so great to see that the majority of the cast will be male this time around. I don't think even Akamatsu could stand drawing so many female characters anymore. :P

Does this ruled the possibility that Negi son/daughter married into konoe family? There is still hope for other shippers.

Although at this point, Konoe is in lead :P.

Akamatsu finally manage to start a shonen battle manga without any harem bits, he must be so freaking happy. That said this manga started on a very high note, let's hope it manages to keep it all the way till the end.

So being the same Negima universe, it's expected we'll get to see pactio cards/artifacts again; and maybe, Ken will finally reveal Negi's family tree.

I have a feeling he's going to give us hints and traps on Negi family tree throughout this manga. Konoka was already hint with possible reason why she's also not with just the first chapter.

Maybe only once but I hope she stays in her adult form as a default in the series. I like her better that way. Like having an adult woman x young boy shipping between them. The pills is what made her adult, I hope she didn't turn to a child from the pills wearing off but showing them her true form.

The color page has three boys, three girls and a ratio of 5:1 for adults, I wish she keeps being in her adult form too, she will have a male harem this way.

According the spoiler pic, its likely she will stay in that form as she took that aging pill to her adult form in the bottom corner. She maybe was showing them her true form to give them full details.

She is probably going to keep the adult form since all the covers have her in that form, I was just happy to see her loli form is still her true form.

That's because she doesn't talk about herself being involved with turning the emperor into an immortal, but some other immportal being living at that time, as she wasn't the first being to turn so.
