Shogakukan Ura Sunday site and Manga One app thread. We still don't have it even though bunch of Ura series are actually pretty popular. Since Helck and Mob ending it's a bit worse but there's still is a lot of good stuff to read and it's one of the most popular and diverse manga apps/sites in Japan. It's also known for the tournaments that spawned a lot of manga that we can read (Helck, It's my Life, Yuusha ga Shinda) which I believe is the most popular manga contest of this type.

Thanks for creating this thread! I had no idea so many of these series were selling so well, especially when compared to the newer series from Weekly Shonen Sunday. Are each one of these websites/apps targeted toward a different audience in some way? For example, is there a different target audience for Ura Sunday and Sunday Webry?

Yes, Webry focuses on the audience that each of the magazines that are in this 'pack' (WSS, Gessan, GX) targets. So mostly boys, teens and young adults.

Ura at the beginning aimed at young adults/adults mostly males and Manga One started to expand it and aims generally at everyone. There are shoujo/josei manga, there are seinen, classic manga, romcoms, ecchi, more shounenish manga, BL and GL manga too, just everything. At the beginning manga aimed at girls was only published on the app but they started to publish it also on Ura page since a year ago. There are even shoujo original oneshots published, sadly not other genres don't have this.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification! I'll have to look more into some of those series that you linked since I've only heard of a handful of them thus far. Glad to see that Danberu nan Kiro Moteru? is one of the best sellers among the many series being published.

You like more fluffy stuff and there is a bunch of romcoms or sol series. Ao no Orchestra, Takunomi, It's my life, Himitsu no Repitles, Trap Heroine are pretty good I would say. I'll try to put the series here into categories and update the sales because there are some that had released later volumes but I posted the list that's a bit older.

New serialization round is more 'Ura' than the last ones that focused mainly on shoujo/josei series. 2nd series "Anata no Kodou wo Misasete" is done by Mita (Hito Kui) and drawn by Tanahashi Namoshiro (Hammer Session) and fifth series on the list, "Yajin" is done by Okabe Uru (Sekai Oni).
1st manga on the list is done by a mangaka that focused on shoujo manga before it, rest are newbies, the last one though is serialization of the series that got 2nd place on the last Manga One tournament. Here is how it looked on the tournament.

You're right, there's a lot of cute looking series here. I've seen some of the volume covers posted on here before or floating around elsewhere online, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see just how big some of these series are. That last new series that came in second in the contest looks well-drawn. Plus, I always appreciate a series that is about yokai

Really great that you've created this thread, but I don't know if it's just me but reading the manga's highlighted in green is quite hard. Maybe it's just my eyesight, but is there any chance you could change it to a colour that is more accessible to read?.

Changed. I have 'black' theme here so the default colour for links looks mediocre from my point of view. PM me if you guys need other changes or anything.

YESSSS! You guys have to check this one out, it's really great. Even if you played the game it's a different experience cause for one Link talks and two they dive into his bond with Midna more. From the raws they're giving Zelda more backstory and connecting her past with Midna's too. Good thread.

Did the Sinbad spin off have any recent copies in print figures? I remember it selling really well like in the 200k's and now the looking at the last few volumes it sold like 50k. What went wrong? I want to read it but it's not translated fully :emocat. The Sinbad spinoff seems to be one of the successful titles in the magazine for sure.

I heard the anime didnt do all that well but despite Mob's anime being successful it didnt do much for the sales.

Also what's Ura Sunday's most successful title? Sinbad? Karakai?
