Young Magazine is a Japanese manga magazine published weekly by Kodansha. The magazine was started on June 23, 1980 and is targeted at adult males (seinen). It is also known as Young or YM. It goes on sale Monday every week. Manga series serialized in Young Magazine are commonly publish in Tankōbon volumes under YoungKC label.

The magazine usually features color photos of gravure idol on the cover and first few pages of each issue.

Kaiji is really great, but is on hiatus right now.
Higanjima is all right. Though Edited Mangas are way behind.
I read a little bit of Montage. It was okay, but not very interesting. Dunno if it's scanlated or not.
There were a couple I saw when reading through raws that LOOKED like they might be interesting, but I haven't read them really.

I have not read any of the current series, but Young Magazine has produced countless classic manga. Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Chobits, xxxholic, Ciguatera, 3x3 Eyes, and Minami-ke all come to mind. There are probably many more, those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I only read Initial D from that magazine. Any other mangas I should look out for that are scanlated and/or have US volumes?

Psychometrer Eiji is also a good series. Kangoku Gakuen has a good concept, even though it has too much ecchi for my taste. Besides that, I like Green Blood, Himizu (completed) and also Sekitou Elergy.

Very interested Shinjuku Swan and Naniwa Tomoare, but they are not transleted

Around 670,000 copies of the weekly magazine were removed ahead of its planned sale last Saturday because of a storm over the photograph, which showed singer Tomomi Kasai with a young, apparently Caucasian or Eurasian child.

Publisher Kodansha pulled the magazine after a storm of negative reaction.
