I don't think it is an understatement to say that this year has been a pretty amazing movie year. Let's recap this year with a Top 10 sponsored by WatchMojo to get some attention to your favorite movies and maybe even recommend some of them to the others.
The list can be sorted by number or in no particular order for those who can't decide even if their life depended on it like me.
My personal list includes:
Baby Driver
Spiderman Homecoming
Thor Ragnarok
Bladerunner 2049
Get Out
Star Wars Last Jedi
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Logan
Coco
IT
Dunkirk
A movie that will probably be added soon: The Disaster Artist but I haven't seen it yet.
However I do have one that stands above all
1. Logan
The only movie I've seen this year that just made me cry by being so good.probably not the best way for a first date to go Total gut punch. Terrific performances by Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen and good ol' Sir Patrick Stewart. As a fan of the Old Man Logan comics I was a bit scared at what they will do but it is a beautiful sendoff to onscreen Wolverine.
