I like their design, their personalities and their magic. All the other groups you mentioned are weaker than the Spriggans. They are all trash bcs of Mashima's lazy writing, except Mard, Hades, and Future Rogue.

I do agree that Mashima’s lazy writing is one of the main problems with Spriggans and it just seems like in most cases the more he hypes a villain group the worse they do performances wise
