Who in your opinion is the strongest 1A student? There has been some controversy about who the strongest between Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki. In my opinion Deku is the strongest out of the three because of 20% Full Cowl. Vote, and give your reason below.

According to an official confirmation of the author, Todoroki is the strongest student, and until it is proven otherwise, for me it will remain so.

Even in the fight against Bakugo, the only reason why Todoroki did not win that fight was because he was distracted. Aizawa himself mentions it in the fight. Then, the author confirmed in an interview that Todoroki is the original winner of the tournament after having defeated Midoriya using his two sides, as a show of all his power. But he considered that his personal problems could not disappear so quickly. That's why Bakugo was the champion of that tournament only because Todoroki allowed it.

Interview (min 22): https://www.bilibili.com/video/av4554923/

It has already been proven, sorry. Todoroki did not "allow" Bakugo to win, he gave up, wasn't in the right mindset. Bakugo would of won regardless, given how Howitzer Impact would of made his flames useless. Todoroki is not beating 20% Deku, he is too fast and punches way harder than Tetsutetsu. Aizawa and Stain has stated that his attacks are too linear, vs Bakugo who is stated to be more versatile by All Might and Aizawa., ie: Creating an Explosion wheel, AP Shot, AP Shot Auto Cannon. The interview never states Todoroki as the strongest, and the feat indicates Bakugo winning. Given this recent chapter Todoroki even states that he is slow and has a habbit with spamming his ice. That Scan that you've already shown me has already been debunked. In raw power Todoroki is not beating Bakugo, his strongest attack covered a whole city block, Todoroki's fire side lacks the Kinetic energy to contend with thim.

It is an error on your part to want to contradict the author, because the author in that interview confirms that he sees Todoroki as the strongest, so the only reason that Bakugo wins the tournament is because Todoroki allows it. There is no other reason. Does not exist. Because if Todoroki had been focused on the fight, it would be as the author had thought. Todoroki beats Bakugo.

No one is contradicting the Author because what you are saying the Author stated does not exist. Yes, I agree he was the strongest at the beginning of the series, but just because it was stated at the beginning to be the strongest does not mean he stays the strongest. In the manga, Feats> Statements anyway. Todoroki did not allow the lost to Bakugo, he was incapable of winning because of his family issues and the skill gap. Provide a real argument instead of the already debunked "Author said so."

Todoroki allowed Bakugo to win from the moment he put out his flames, so please do not contradict the author, and certainly in the interview the author says that Todoroki is the winner of the tournament if he decides to use both sides, which does not It happened, for that reason Bakugo "won" because Todoroki was not focused on the fight. So again I tell you, YOU DO NOT CONTRADICT THE AUTHOR.

Post Timestamp and Translation, because the link you gave me has not been translated. In English Subtitle Version (which I can't find) The Author NEVER says that Todoroki is the strongest, or that he would of won, he said that Todoroki is the original Winner, but he changed it. This does not imply that Todoroki would of won. How about you not contradict feats, because right now in the manga, he is the weakest out of the three. Regardless if he used his flames or not, he would of lost. The strongest student in the hero course is 20% Deku. Provide an argument for this.

If you found the link in English, then you can not lie, the author says that Todoroki is the winner of the tournament as a sample of all his power using both sides. The only reason why Bakugo did not win was because the author did not use his two sides and was never concentrated in the fight.

For that reason, the fact that Todoroki is the strongest still exists.

The fact still stands that 20% Deku is the strongest. Todoroki is not fast enough physically and isn't fast enough to react. The Interview that was posted in english is no longer available, that is wht I am asking for a timestamp and translation. You've yet to provide a credible argument for Todoroki beating current Bakugo and Deku. Deku>Bakugo>Todoroki. This currently cannot be refuted.

It is refuted from the moment the author considers Todoroki as the strongest student officially confirmed. Until the author declares otherwise and Todoroki does not officially lose with either, Todoroki is the strongest.

No it is refuted because feats say otherwise. 20% Deku is the strongest.

20% is not enough to defeat Todoroki, nor 100% was enough.

Todoroki has been stated to be the strongest in the class by other students before when they moved to the dorms..In the beginning of the series, after watching his fight,Bakugou himself stated he thought he couldn't win against him and that was only his ice side. There has been a special emphasis on Todoroki being the top dog in the class and nothing from Bakugou suggests he surpassed him. In fact, after Deku Todoroki has the most potential to get stronger as fire is %50 his power and should even be more special than his ice and he was top dog even before he started using his fire. Bakugo most certainly hasn't shown anything to suggest he can beat Todoroki but Deku is a wild card in this. He gains massive feats every arc so it's difficult to measure where he stands. The Overhaul arc in particular and Gentle afterwards were combat experience the likes of Todo and especially Kacchan never saw. Besides running away from and avoiding LoV members for a brief time,Bakugou never fought any villains or did something that stands out. We can say that he is slightly above pre-Overhaul Deku and might have improved since then as he told Deku a few chapters ago but it still remains to be seen. Seeing as how not even 1/3 of the manga is finished,it would be pretty unlikely that the "I must surpass him" rival character that is Todoroki to be surpassed yet,and he is also one of the 5 main characters with very high potential. If his fire becomes Endeavor level, that would put him at No.2 level of power(BoS) add the heat regulation his dad lacks and the ice powers he developed since he was a child,Todoroki has the most potential besides Deku of course.
To summarize, Kacchan is overrated,Deku is a wildcard,Todoroki is topdog

By the way, "feats" is completely subjective whereas character statements, narrative focus and actual author statements are more grounded and concrete. A fan measuring an attack to be "city block " means nothing to me. Author stating him to be the strongest in the official databook and stating he would have won but he decided against it because his family issues shouldn't have been solved that quickly pretty much settles it..And other characters acting like he is the strongest is actually solid as well.

Bakugou, todorokis a jobber and not fully mastered his quirk nor his combat sense and physical prowess so he can easily be by pass.by high tiers in super speed, super strength and martial arts with their quirks.

As much as you want to lie, there is nothing to confirm what you say, if you compare them in the official character book there is nothing to suggest that Bakugo is faster or has better technique or is more "physically strong". The lie of the Bakugo fans was over long ago.

Obviously this is Bakugo.:yodawg

He won the melee 8 %OFA.(Bakugo in that battle did not use even half of his techniques):oooh

Deku already got +Lv Up and so Bakugo:
[/url]

P.s Todoroki here is generally superfluous in the list:notsure. He lose 1 х 1 vs Tetsu which is only a Kirishima pale copy. Iida also became stronger than Todoroki.

Todoroki at best top-6:m3j

What a pity that unlike Bakugo your Todoroki(:m3j:bishie) showed none of this in manga except for spam of ice walls or streams of fire:yodawg

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail:fail

P.s Your boy would not have won even 5% OFA. What to say about 8% or even 20%:awe

P.s Do you even understand that Tetsu broke Shota face in the blood?:m3j
Character with 0 ability to fight in melee compared with Bakugo or Deku, very slow, without any special attacks.
Just with a bare fist broke Todoroki face:yodawg

Yeah sure Shota top - 1:oooh (at best top-6:epicfacepalm)

The only important thing here is that the author confirmed Todoroki as the strongest student, until the opposite happens, no one will be stronger than Todoroki.

Neither Bakugo nor Midoriya can stand what Tetsutetsu endured. Therefore, nothing of that matters. Neither of them can beat Todoroki.

Probably Todoroki by a slight margin, followed by Bakugo. At least, that's how I see it. We should get a better idea of Bakugo is now capable of this week.
