Summary
Winter Cicada can be seem as a spin off from the manga Haru wo Daiteita. In the manga, the two main characters are actors that were chosen to film this adaptation of a book. This imaginary movie became an OVA divided in 3 parts.
The story shows the relationship between clans in Japan in the 19th century. The main characters of the story belong to different clans that become rivals, but they don't support this rivalry.
Personal opinion:
Beautiful story, one of the best stories in anime that you can find in the BL world. The art is great with a nice OST. Definately worth watching.
