I pretty sure that Togashi had a lot of inspration with religous elements while creating storyline of this manga
Not to mention all the 14 Princes and the whole GOT things are actually based on Goya's painting and actual storyline of the Titan Cronos devoured all the 14 children which later on lead to Zeus (the final survivor and the 14th kid) destroyed his father and saved his brothers and sisters
