Won the "Excellence Award" of the 36th Japan Cartoonist Association Award aka Nihon Mangaka Kyokai Award.

Oohara Mantarou is a low-paid office worker who is also a connoisseur of food. While running low on money one day, he decides to try his hand at being a "gourmet fighter". He takes a challenge to eat a certain number of bowls of food in a set time limit, where, if he succeeds, he'll get the food for free in addition to a cash prize. In the process, he manages to catch the eye of a professional food fighting scout. Does Mantarou have what it takes to become a professional gourmet fighter?
