Wind Breaker volumes (such as v1) (Thank you Suo) finally getting into the daily top 50 may keep Kagurabachi vol 1 from getting in the weekly top 50 if the sales continue to explode , going to be a race to watch .

Sports manga exist outside of jump. Blue Lock, including episode Nagi, has multiple volumes here, Ao Ashi is on here too, Oblivion Battery has 16 volumes on this list, Haikyuu has multiple volumes on this list...

Wind Breaker volumes (such as v1) (Thank you Suo) finally getting into the daily top 50 may keep Kagurabachi vol 1 from getting in the weekly top 50 if the sales continue to explode , going to be a race to watch .

All of these mangas has more than 6 years. The only big success since longtime is diamond no kouzai

Kagurabachi's backlog is so insanely interesting to follow.
Reads kind of like a series with an adaptation already, rather than a rookie on his second volume.

Otherwise, heart goes out to anyone who was still rooting for GGG.
The mangaka has genuinely improved so much since his last serialisation.
Wasn't expecting it to rank well, of course, but to see it below all 3 axed releases this month. Ouch.

As expected Kagurabachi had a very frontloaded 1st day, Boruto rise back to 2nd place and the other bigger releases that were charting longer beat it too, still great ranking and i don't think it will drop bellow Akane.

Ain’t no way that ShE, an axed manga, has more stock than GGG. Just face it Shinuki, it is a huge flop. Can’t believe they axed Cipher for this.

I'm not saying that they printed more for Shadow Eliminators but that GGG print would be running out faster than SE, it's not a question of being a flop or not but that GGG have performed, and it still performing, far better than SE volume in the stores which have rankings, so SE "selling better" than GGG just doesn't make any sense by using any popularity metric.

Pretty boy delinquent manga fans eating good this year with Windbreaker anime and Astro manga

Kagurabachi probably would have sold more if only there was no stock issue (again). I keep hearing shops limiting puchases to only 1 per customer. And some people needing to look at different bookshops to hunt down tokutens... tsutaya stocks got wiped out.

This is like Son Goku with his weight clothes limiting him.

I still think the series could have done better if the character designs looked much better. It was a huge turn off for me in the manga. Just really unappealing, honestly.

Though I've seen a few stores with purchase limits, I've also seen a few without.
It shouldn't really have too detrimental an effect. The dedicated fujoshi and yumejoshi will just visit multiple if needs be.

On that note however, I am curious whether Kagurabachi will need a reprint. For both volumes, and not just the second.
They're both ranking crazy well, above expectations, and though that 200k circulation definitely isn't for show I can see it being chipped away at these next few weeks.
As you touched on briefly quite a few places are already running low on stock.

Boukyaku Battery from Jump Plus has currently all 17 volumes charting on Shoseki because of the anime.
