Outselling Nue's Exorcist entire month in 4 days may be a doubtful position to take...based on the other manga volumes that came out this week, this may be a pretty low selling week overall.

Kagurabachi came in under Black Butler. Last week Black Butler sold 70k in 4th, this week Shoseki puts it at 2nd, since it's doubtful that it would sell more in its 2nd week, and since Kagurabachi is in 8th, Kagurabachi probably did 30-50k. Jujutsu Kaisen sold 59k last week at 6th, this week Shoseki puts it at 4th, again strongly suggests and highly implies Kagurabachi did 30-50k. Nue's Exorcist surely should have grown to more than 30-50k a month, imo.

Next stape For Kagurabachi, Sakamoto Days/Blue Box. I am very very happy to see this. For a canceled manga, Kagurabachi sells well. We saw Japanes just buy it because of the meme.

I'm using UU as a benchmark, since Nue is right behind it in sales, and since Undead does a consistent 30K, any real growth from Nue will involve it surpassing Undead. Don't get me wrong, it'll come close this volume (and probably without any drastic Shoseki overestimating) and will probably overtake it next volume, but this is pretty meh growth, one of the slowest I've seen from a WSJ success from a newbie. I honestly want it to grow a bit more, it feels unsatisfying that this series isn't getting past 30K.

I mean, Undead Unluck being a downer in sales isn't particularly new information. I want to see newer series beating it, you know, the future and all that.

Doesn't seem to have affected Akane:

Akane had a rough drop with this volume for whatever reasons, is the least selling since vol 4, i noticed something was going on when people on 5ch were bringing Akane when doing the typical mock comments about series "not selling".

Well, i don't think anything changed, Boruto volume 1 did something like 32k in 3 days, so the result won't change a lot for volume 2 sales

i came to realise that there is a curse that prevent Nue to surpass UU and do more than 30k, the series is growing very slowly (but at least dont decline like kill blue)
