Was supporting Queensland but expected the Blues to win that one mainly because no Thurston for the maroons.

Yea not JT was tough, but they picked a fairly flat looking side. Usually the Blues look better on paper anyway. But hopefully they can turn it around in 2 weeks.

I was there last year to study. It's a lovely place. This may sound hypocritical but it's a terrible place to live but a wonderful place to go as a tourist. Since I'm a foreigner working on Japanese soil, I don't have to subscribe to their crazy 16 hours work days where overtime is a cultural norm ._.

Surprised there are quite a number of Aussie staff here on MH. All wearing FT avatars too. But all my favourite characters are already being worn. *Glare DiMaria, Erza, and Brandy* :P

He's going over to the Rabbitos as well... He'd do better at Storm imo.

Gagai is great in origin. He was released by the Broncs back in the day. The knights signed him when he needed a home I guess.

Still, he was a wasted talent in the Knights. I went to see a Storm home game a few weeks back and we were facing the Knights. This guy took the ball off Gaggai, their BEST PLAYER, breaks into midfield and slips on nothing He cost them a try I reckon.

He goes up another level in origin, but at club level he's been good without being awesome. He had really good year from memory, but he's mostly inconsistent. I do agree he'd go better at another club where he doesn't have to be the best player, or even a top 5 player.

The Storm will likely fade over the next few seasons, they should try and buy a premiership next year tbh with Smith still in his prime but near the end (Cronk is gone after this year, Slater at most plays til 2018).

I'm well aware of the fact that we might have a few quiet years while our new talents are growing. Still, Slater and Cronk will be missed. Our coach is leaving at the end of next year too
